About this house rental
Our Villa Avlia house was built in 2018 and welcomes you for your next luxury holiday on the island of Naxos. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and the island of Paros, as well as absolutely beautiful sunsets.
The location is 25 minutes from the port and 10 minutes from the village of Vivlos,. You will be surrounded by nature so that you can enjoy a relaxing and calm holiday. Our villa offers a superb swimming pool 9m long, a terrace with lounge and dining table .. The villa has been tastefully decorated for your comfort. It is ideal for couples and families (with children).
Arranged on three levels., The lower floor includes a bedroom with its own bathroom and access to its own terrace. The ground floor comprises a living room, a dining room, a large kitchen, a bedroom with two beds and its own bathroom. A staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor with its bathroom and two terraces. Access to the pool and outdoor dining area is via the ground floor or the lower floor through an exterior stone staircase.
A gas barbecue is at your disposal.
To note
The pool is unattended. Customers are responsible for the safety of minors who use the premises.
Access to Villa Avlia is mandatory by car and the path is unpaved (over 1 km) with 2 important slopes.
In the surrounding area:
You have to try the local salty pies and sweet cakes from the local bakery at Vivlos - "you will go back".
Visiting the local butcher in Glinado is an experience: pork and sausages are "to die for".
The nearest beach is Mikri Vigla, less than 10 minutes by car.
You will need a car to go to the villa.

Unbelievable property. We did not want to leave! We almost didn’t due to a 24 hr labor strike but our host was wonderful and flexible telling us not to worry, we could stay an extra day if needed.We celebrated our daughter’s birthday in this amazing home with a view. We cooked family style some nights and it was so special. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it so easy. Shower pressure and temperature were better than home! Lovely neighbors who gave us great advice on what breaches, villages and surrounding islands to visit. The roads are challenging and you need a good car or atv to reach it but as Gareth, our host, said, “You get used to it” and we did!

Haven’t needed the AC but mini splits in each bedroom. Pool is lovely but a little chilly. Hope to go in later this afternoon

Our family very much loved the house up on the hill with a lovely view over Plaka and Paros. The hill drive certainly takes your breath away the first few times in its steepness, but once you arrive the house is very modern, private and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the pool and there is a great outdoor space for family dinners and watching the sunsets. The bedrooms were spacious and well air conditioned. Gareth was very informative and communication was excellent. Highly recommend staying here as a family of 4 - lots of space for everyone!

A beautiful, modern, well-appointed house with the most incredible outdoor space and views over the sea. We didn’t want to leave in the evenings because we wanted to savour every sunset. Gareth was very helpful and easy to communicate with.
The one feature that took getting used to was the drive to the house, which requires a very steep descent followed by a very steep ascent, on a narrow road with two way traffic. It was hair raising, although we quickly got used to it. Were from Canada and can drive manual, but for other North Americans who are t used to stick driving, these hills could be punishing teachers
