About this house rental
The Converse Cabin is located near the mouth of Netarts Bay and offers direct access to a quiet, nearly private beach. The breathtaking panoramic view of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean makes this beach house a wonderful place to stay no matter the weather. Located 7 miles west of Tillamook, OR, the sleepy community of Netarts is a hidden jewel of the Oregon Coast. Netarts offers guests an uncomplicated coast experience, with plenty of adventure to be found within a short drive.
Check in is 4 pm with check out at 12 noon.
For large groups our next door neighbors' cabin may also be available for rent.
Description: Our home is a 3-story oceanfront. There are 1200 square feet on the 3 levels. The beach is in our back yard. There are 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a bathroom across the hall. The whole west wall is glass in the bedrooms. There is a spiral stair to the living room, dining room, and kitchen on the second floor.
The great room has a living room, dining room and kitchen. The whole west wall is glass with breath taking views of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. There is a deck off the dining room with patio table and chairs, and electric barbeque. The kitchen is fully furnished. We have a Jenn Aire Range, dishwasher and microwave.
There is a 1/2 bath on the second floor and a stair to the 3rd floor with a futon which folds out to a double bed.
There is a path to our sandy beach with plenty of driftwood.
You can rent a boat with 3 crab pots only 6 blocks from our home and go crabbing in Netarts Bay. You can also dig for clams. Tillamook is only 7 miles away for your shopping needs. We even provide the firewood for the cone shaped fireplace in the middle of the great room.

We loved the happy spirit you created with the travel photos, and the eclectic touches, like the Apple Pie neon sign, which added a rosy glow to the nights. The amenities you provided were fabulous and welcoming. You created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making the visit extra relaxing....the star-filled nights were dazzling. You bring enjoyment to all souls who have been lucky enough to accept your hospitality. Thanks so much for letting us rent your lovely home. We adored every minute and hope to return."

Activities: Crabbing, clamming, beach combing, bonfires, tennis, golf, deep sea, river and bay fishing and relaxing.
Area: We have 1 small grocery store in Netarts and Safeway, Fred Meyer, etc. in Tillamook which is only 7 miles away for your shopping needs. There are several restaurants in Oceanside and Tillamook. We also have the Tillamook Cheese Factory, one of the top tourist attractions in Oregon. They have tours of the factory and serve ice cream.

The weather was absolutely beautiful we really enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing and what fun watching the people clamming and crabbing from the deck.

Check in was super easy, free firewood for the great fireplace was a plus. Directly on the beach so fires there were nice as well. Have stayed in Netarts a handful of times and this was the best place for a couple people.

We had a wonderful stay at this great cabin. The location is excellent and the views are incredible. Wake up to the sight and sound of breakers rolling into Netarts Bay. This location is great for clam digging, beach-combing, crabbing or just relaxing. We just left and cannot wait to come back. Would definitely recommend.

Patricia's cabin is beautifully situated above the bay in Netarts - it was our daily favorite to go down to the ocean and look forward to the scenic short climb back up. The property has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay - we think we never had a better equipped rental property as the kitchen is stocked with utensils and there were games galore for the rainy days. Cannot wait to visit this gem again - it's peaceful and quiet out in Netarts but it also had the freshest oysters ever at the Schooner and Tillamook and the creamery are only a short 10m trip away. We are missing the place dearly and cannot wait to return(Would have reviewed this much sooner but the Vrbo app cuts off on an android and you cannot see what you're typing in this comment box)
