Villa Vista del Mar sits only 15 steps from the soft white sands of the Caribbean Sea. Relax in your own spacious beach home with 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, 2 rooftop terraces, and a private pool with lounge chairs. The first floor of this home has the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the laundry, and 3 guest bedrooms with their en suite bathrooms. The top floor is where the master suite is located and also the rooftop terrace with access to the second terrace, which sits on the 3rd level of the home.
Villa Vista del Mar resides in the gated beachside community of Playacar Phase 1 and is only a short 15-minute stroll to 5th Avenue.

The condo met our needs with 5 “kids” between 15 and 24. A few things caused 4 instead of 5 stars for us.
The pictures of the pool are definitely decieving. It’s a nice pool but it’s really just a little bigger than a normal sized hot tub.
The daily wake up sounds of the backhoe tearing down the condo directly in front of us would have been nice to know about ahead of time. We might have preferred another place if possible to switch. Also, please double check the status of the Sargassum (seaweed) in the area before making plans. Especially if you are coming for the beach. It is really bad right now all along the beaches in the area.

The house is a perfect getaway. A clean, spacious, 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The beach is a two minute walk away. Playa del Carmen is a 10 minute walk away. North American Standards property management has it “dialed in”, they offered grocery shopping prior to our arrival saving us the hassle of shopping. Would/will stay here again!!!

We spent New Years here with 3 other couples and it was a great choice. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out with huge bedrooms, 2 terraces and your own private pool. There are many seating options. The kitchen and dining room worked out great and there is Weber BBQ grill just outside the front door which made grilling very easy. We watched the fireworks from the top terrace at midnight. Getting to the beach is so easy . Just a few steps and you are there.
Very quite area and a great property for large groups!
