Newly Remodeled Waterfront Tahoe Keys Home

This house was wonderful for our needs. We had a group of nine adults and there was plenty of space for everyone. Easy to get to the house and easy to get to places from the house. Very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and a great view out back. Check in/out was fast and easy and communication was always quick.

We couldnt have found a better house for our family get away. The actual property is beautiful and large with amazing views of the frosted canals. It fit our needs perfectly with a separate room for the kids to watch tv and play, as well as spacious additional rooms. All beds were comfortable and perfectly spread out. We were even able to take the kids for a short walk to a large park area with snow to play for the day. A seriously perfect home for a lovely snow vacation. Id love to see it during the summer!

As soon as we check in I go to use the Restroom after a long drive and when I walk into the restroom I slipped on a huge puddle of water. The bathroom ceiling was leaking onto the floor and had caused a large mess. We were able to deal with that and contacted the owner right away. One of the largest problems was the downstairs bedroom has a single bed in it And that bed is completely broken. We had 10 people in the house and needed to use that bed and it was so uncomfortable that they ended up having to sleep on the couch. I notified the owner of that right after check-in and they let me know that they know of the issue and it could possibly be the boards underneath it. That was not the problem and here we were paying full price for an unusable bed and a flooded bathroom.

This trip and was honestly great ! The owner was really friendly and also let me check in early. It was honestly nicer than I thought and all of my family had a great time there . Everything was cleaned, organized , and owner always replied whenever I needed anything or had any questions. Definitely would be back .

We had a wonderfull time at this place. Love this house so much. Amazing views from windows. Nice area. 15 minutes from Heavenly. Kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow on deck. Robert (owner) provided his personal phone number and was very friendly and able to communicate fast. We will definately rent this house again. Thank you Robert!

The house is nice--a little dated, but great location on the keys, beautiful sunrise/sunset from the dock. Unfortunately we were told a few days before the trip that the spa was broken and unusable. We booked the house and agreed on the price thinking that the spa was included, so a break in the price for the inability to use the spa would have been appreciated. Early check-in/check-out was offered but none of us could arrive early or stay late. Also was a lot of bird poop on the decks because of some nesting birds or pigeons or ?

We’ve been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for more than 17 years, and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed. It’s very important to us to have the living quarters and a bedroom on the first floor, and we weren’t disappointed.

Our only complaint is not enough towels especially kitchen towels. There were no wash clothes in the upstairs bathroom with the king bed.

It was a great place to stay for my family. The house was updated, clean and very comfortable. It was close to all the local entertainment and South Lake Tahoe ski spots. My family highly recommends staying here if you are going to Tahoe.

This home was everything we wanted and more! It had all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. We traveled with four children and the home was perfect for them. The kids shared the bunk bed room! The gated patio gave us peace of mind for the littles. The jacuzzi was great for winding down after a long day on the lake. Easy boat access and beautiful ride through the Keys. Good location to get in and out of the Keys also for quick dinner trips or market. Would definitely rent this home again.

We had a family wedding at Lake Tahoe. The VRBO exceeded our expectations. It is well furnish with plenty of space for group gatherings for the 8 of us but also had plenty of nooks for individual activities and quiet time. Our 6 days and 5 nights went so fast we really didn't get to utilize everything. The trails are close by for biking. The kitchen is well furnished with utensils for cooking meals. The nights turned cool and comfortable, however during our stay the afternoons were very warm so we bought a box fan. Again full moon was incredible. Thanks Robert

We had a fantastic 3 day stay at this house. Our group had plenty of space to relax around the house, enjoy the hot tub, fireplace, and living room. Great layout and location. We contacted our host once during our stay and he was very responsive and we had no issues. We would highly recommend to anyone and would stay here again on another trip to Tahoe.

The property met the needs of our 2 families very well. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us with the 4 bedrooms and around the dining table. The only thing missing was another sofa as there was only 5 seats available, so a couple of people had to sit on the floor - the right arm of the rocking chair also needed fixing back on as it kept falling off. Other than that, everything was in good working order. It was very useful to have the washing machine and dryer - very handy when you are limited with your luggage! The kitchen had all the equipment needed and we were able to eat in when we didn’t feel like going out. We cooked a great Christmas meal with roast turkey - after working out how to use the oven (quite different to the ones in the UK). The heating worked well downstairs and there were individual heaters in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms, so everyone was warm. We all enjoyed the hot tub - very nice to look out across the water at the back of the property. The property is about a 10 minute drive to the Stateline, but it was nice to be in a quiet location to relax after a day out. During our stay, the area was suffering a bit of a drought, so somewhat lacking in snow, which was a bit disappointing - but that’s the risk you take when booking a ski holiday. We made the best of things, driving to Kirkwood which, being at a higher elevation, had better snow cover. We enjoyed it there as well as Northstar resort, just over an hour’s drive at the north of the lake. There was no chance of any snowmobiling this vacation, but we enjoyed driving around the lake (often these roads are closed when there is a lot of snow) and our teenagers had great fun in the arcades at Harrahs and Harvey’s casinos. We found ourselves at Sonny’s restaurant 3 times during our 11 night stay - amazing ribs and all things meat! (as well as catering for our teenage vegetarian with a fantastic mushroom burger!!) The owner of the property, Robert, was easy to contact and provided all the information needed for our stay. I asked about a Christmas tree before we arrived and he bought one and left it at the property for us. We bought some candy canes and lights for it and it made everything more festive. For my family, this was the 5th vacation we have had in the Heavenly area (over the past 18 years) and we really enjoyed our stay. We made the most of our time despite the lack of snow. We would definitely recommend the property to family and friends. Thank you Robert.
