I thought the bed was larger than I thought. When I selected a "single" I thought the bed size would be a twin. But the bed was actually quite large, as well as the restroom area. There are many options for food around the property and it was very close to the train/bus. Check in and check out was very easy.

I wish that the desk had a better chair to work at. I did not think the pouf was substantial enough for anyone who wants to work in their room. Sadly the DB was incredibly delayed so options for RB7 and DB48 were always delayed. I wish the property informed people more proactively of potential issues with public transport.

Close to the railway station and the centre of Opladen. A fridge in the room. Since I could not get in (the hotel sends a code to the doors by e-mail on the day of arrival and - well, of course - the Internet connection failed me on that day) I called the hotel and within a minute there was a guy at the doors to help me. The room was pretty clean (except the walls which need a bit of renovation). The wi-fi works well.

I thought I booked a double room with one large bed but got a twin-room. The beds are a shame... Overall it is a students' dormitory standard, relatively cheap but I'd rather add extra 30 euros to have something better. It is quite odd to stay at a place with basically no staff present. There are no glasses in the room. No breakfast option possible. It is a very acoustic place - one hears neighbours coming and going, talks, laughs etc. On top of that there is a bar next to the hotel open until late with noisy clientele talkin on the terrace - and you can hear all that. Happily all calmed down after midnight ;=)
