Sleep and run!

Close to the railway station and the centre of Opladen. A fridge in the room. Since I could not get in (the hotel sends a code to the doors by e-mail on the day of arrival and - well, of course - the Internet connection failed me on that day) I called the hotel and within a minute there was a guy at the doors to help me. The room was pretty clean (except the walls which need a bit of renovation). The wi-fi works well.

I thought I booked a double room with one large bed but got a twin-room. The beds are a shame... Overall it is a students' dormitory standard, relatively cheap but I'd rather add extra 30 euros to have something better. It is quite odd to stay at a place with basically no staff present. There are no glasses in the room. No breakfast option possible. It is a very acoustic place - one hears neighbours coming and going, talks, laughs etc. On top of that there is a bar next to the hotel open until late with noisy clientele talkin on the terrace - and you can hear all that. Happily all calmed down after midnight ;=)

Unprofessional special they don’t have a Non-Smoking sign in the Room and toilet and also the fire and safety guidelines

Did not like it

1. There was no safety instruction in the room 2. There was no sign of Non-Smoking in the room and in the toilet 3. There was no fire exit instructions 4. The light beside the bed was broken 5. The mattress of the bed was very uncomfortable 6. There was no bottle of water or glass to drink in the room . 7. The hospitality was 0 8. The key code system was very challenging

Love this cute place to stay

Location was awesome, close to lots of shops and to public transport, staff was very kind and helpful and replied super fast, comfy bed, nice bathroom, a bookable parking space, this room luckily also had an aircon!

The aircon was a bit weird sometimes, still grateful we had one!

The room was very clean and tidy, the bed really comfortable. It was winter time, so then also room temperature was appropriate and warm.

The room size was much smaller then as showed on the pictures and Discription.

Brand new furniture, well equipped and clean.

Very clean, all new and modern. Close to main station.

No free parking as it is very central. The area around mostly has Döner restaurants and could not find a bakery or similar place for breakfast by foot.

Overall a great short stay!

Great, modern and spacious triple room. Comfortable beds, and lively neighborhood. We could park right in front of the entrance, although against a fee (not uber expensive thou) We arrived late, so we used the check-in apparatus at the entrance without any issues. Overall very nice place for a short stay!

The triple room was impeccable, although some of the walls were a bit dusty (static) and the bed linen had a hole on it. But not terrible. My parents stayed in a double room on the first floor which lacked air conditioning and thus was extremely hot. They couldn't sleep well.

poor checkin information given luckily as a courtesy I messaged the property Via the app to tell them I would arrive around 6pm it said checkin until 00.00 on the page! I was informed that a key would be left in the key safe and told to leave it there when I left today. this all worked out ok but if you arrive after 6 pm make sure you let them know no interaction with a person at this place I suspect also this area of Opladen was not particularly nice with lots of youths hanging around me when I arrived at the Penzion would not recommend

Good for a short stay

Good place if you are staying for a day or two and in the summer. Quite a challenging place if you are staying longer. We stayed for 7 days, a family with 2 children. The first thing we did is to buy a kettle and mugs to have at least some warm water for coffee or tea. Next we ran to the shop to get extra hangers as the room had only 4. There is just one shelf in the closet, no extra hangers in the bathroom and no space to leave 2 luggages open to live out of them since you have no space for clothes in the closet. On New Years’ Eve the lock to the building did not work, luckily some other guests had the right key so we didn’t have to stay outside. The cleaning lady is very kind and she readily changed our bedding or towels anytime we asked. I would not stay again.

Very clean and spacious room, with private modern bathroom. Beds are large and comfortable. Check in and check out is automatic (without reception). I can recomend it.

Angry with booking.com

Booking.com gave us the wrong pin code so we nearly had to sleep in the car. Luckely we found a person to help us after many attempts I am quite angry with Booking.com
