LaScala Condominiums sit on the channel bay waters of the Gulf of Mexico and offers guests beautiful views of Vanderbilt Beach right across the street. It is only seconds to the beach on a private walking path. The grounds and foliage are lush and well maintained. The complex has a swimming pool, lounging chairs, Jacuzzi, over looking the bay for all your enjoyment.
You can fish right off the docks, BBQ grill for outdoor cooking, and have your dinner on th deck with table and chairs. Guests will also enjoy covered parking in the complex garage located street level. The complex is equipped with an elevator from the garage level to each floor of the complex or you can walk the outside stairwell for exercise.
This beautifully decorated 3rd floor condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, Flat Screen TV with a spacious master bath offering double sink vanity, walk-in closet, garden tub, and separate shower. The guest room has 2 twin beds, Flat Screen TV and views of the gulf. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, Flat Screen TV with views of Vanderbilt Beach. The living area is spacious with living room, dining room, and screened lanai.
The screened lanai has table and chairs for relaxing, watching the sunrise, boats, and watching the dolphins and manatee play in the channel bay waters. The kitchen is large with breakfast nook seating and fully equipped for your cooking convenience. The condo has front balcony with seating and ocean views, TVs with cable, and internet access.

The property was just as advertised and pictured. We had a wonderful experience staying at this property and would definitely stay at this location again.

This is a beautiful place, wonderfully decorated, and peaceful! Beach was very quiet with easy access. The condo balcony was a terrific view of the inlet bay, sunrises and passing boats. The owner was easy for any communication and there were zero issues with anything from the condo. Lots of restaurants are close and the bigger part of Naples is not far. Was a 10 out of 10 for us!

The location is lovely and the apartment is furnished and decorated nicely. However, our concern was that we booked two months after Hurricane Ian and did so based on the ad "no damage to the condo or the complex". This was not a true representation. We paid the full amount upfront. A couple of weeks later, the owner/manager said that she just found out that the elevator was broken and that it might not be working when we arrive. She said that if we wanted to cancel, we would have to file an insurance claim or that she would give us a discount if we still wanted to come. Our travel insurance, like any others, is only for issues related to events that occur after a booking, not for an inaccurate listing. Prior to our arrival, I asked on three different occasions what the discount would be. I never got an answer, even when I told her that one of our party of four (people in our 70s) would not be able to come without the use of an elevator. Since we had already paid, we could not cancel.
When we arrived, we learned that the elevator had not been in use since the hurricane in September and that it would not be repaired until after our stay. During our stay, I reached out to VRBO and told them that I couldn't get a response from the owner/manager regarding the discount and asked what remedy we would have. They contacted the owner and she finally offered a $300 refund, about 5% of what we paid for the rental. She again said we should try to file an insurance claim. I don't think what she offered was fair compensation but more importantly, we would not have booked this property in the first place had we known that we wouldn't have an elevator. The apartment is four stories up from the parking garage.
With a vacancy following our stay, she continued to advertise no damage.
