Comfortable, spacious room close to everything. It was wonderful to walk out of the door and down a flight of steps to be on the beach immediately. Hosts are lovely, always attentive and allowed us to access the room early. Free public car park 5 mins walk.
On a busy road so noise of the traffic from 6am and went on til late. I would have liked a toaster.

Door and window open to enjoy the Azorean air result in intrusive tyre noise on the the cobbled road, less than a meter from door and window. Would local speed bumps reduce speed and lower the volume?

Location was beautiful and highly convenient for walking to Monte Brasil. Centrally placed for Angra do Heroismo town which is cheerful, lively and charming with many eateries and excellent first rate museum.
Facilities in room all worked very well and water in bathroom sink was hot as well as the shower.
Hostess who lived on site kindly provided delicious cake on two occasions.
Access to golden beach and safe swimming amazing.
Supermarkets for self-catering are close by.
One way street road noise outside is rumbling but this disappears during core night hours.
Occasional late evening sudden fireworks are a bit startling.

Great location in the centre of Angra. We had a friendly and helpful host, and the room was clean. They provided apple pie on arrival which was delightful!
Basically felt like it fell between a hotel and self catering apartment - we just had a bedroom and bathroom but nobody came to service the room, and when staying more than a night or so it felt like this was needed really.
