Great location in Canggu, nice pool area, and a social but relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room could benefit from extra cabinets or lockers so each guest has enough personal storage.

Amazing stay

The hostel has an incredible vibe, people are very kind, always trying to make you feel accommodated.

Generally 10/10 but the reception organisation method could improve. When someone wanted to extend the accommodation period they didn't know until the same day whether they have free beds, so it was a bit of last minute.

I left after 4 days even though I paid for 2 weeks……

Location was good. The bar right downstairs is good. Pool is nice! Great place to meet cool people.

They play live music every single night till 11pm… It’s right outside your window. The room door is broken and people constantly leave door open so mosquitoes are going to EAT YOU ALIVE in bed. The hot water lasts about 7 mins. The toilet was broken so where was I supposed to use the bathroom? I just went in the broken leaky toilet because there was nowhere else. WiFi is very spotty and doesn’t work in most places. If you are on top bunk be prepared to SWEAT!

It's beautiful but too noisy

The rooms are nice and clean, but honestly, we couldn't sleep. The music was way too loud. We understand they have a bar next door, but they could turn it down a bit for those who have activities the next day and need to sleep. Half and Half. The hostel is very nice and has two pools, but it was strange; at reception, there didn't seem to be many people willing to help or they were all asleep. Anyway, our stay was only for one night, so we weren't expecting too much.

Affordable but no storage and loud at night

The location, the cleanliness, the pool, the staff and the price.

The dorm have lockers to store luggage but no shelves whatsoever to put your clothes away. It was quite unpractical to live out of my suitcase for 4 nights. No complimentary drink water on premises. The hostel has live music every other night which is nice, but my room gave directly above the stage and it was impossible to sleep. This is a very cheap hostel though so I guess it’s alright for the price.

Best Hostel in Canggu

I stayed in both the private rooms and the dorms and everything was super clean. The vibe is great, the staff is really nice, and the pool area is perfect to chill. The food is tasty, it’s just a short walk to Batu Bolong Beach, and they rent scooters which makes everything super convenient. Totally recommend!

Near to the beach and had a pool of it’s own. Had an in house restaurant and couple of supermarkets near by

Though not a complaint, The dorm room wasn’t spacious to keep ur luggage. Except this minor inconvenience, the place is a great value for money. And to be honest, one of my greatest highlights in an overhyped canggu was my stay at this hostel.

Great hostel with two lovely pool areas to relax in and a bar that serves reasonably prices food & drinks with live music every night. Rooms were comfortable with good A/C. Perfect location - only 5-10 minute walk to the beach.

Live music finishes at 11pm so can be difficult to sleep before this time.

Live music is on until 12:30 every night which is louder in the dorm rooms than the actual bar. Was woken up as soon as the staff started in the morning again from the noise. Food from the restaurant took a very long time & pizza was soggy when it arrived

Do not recommend: unsafe for solo travellers

The bar staff

Absolutely not safe or as described (had to leave at midnight) I do not recommend this hostel, especially for solo travelers or women traveling alone. I had to leave in the middle of the night at 12:30 AM because I felt completely unsafe and the room was unhygienic and poorly maintained. The bedroom door didn’t close properly from the outside, leaving a large gap — anyone or anything could enter, including insects or small pests. The windows had gaps, and people could see directly inside the room, compromising my privacy. The bathroom was very dirty, clearly not cleaned before my arrival. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, despite there being multiple networks. Reception gave me a vague answer about “asking the technician” and offered no real help. Because I had no working internet, I was left without a way to contact friends or get support, which made the situation even more distressing. The stairs were unsafe, very narrow and full of rubbish underneath — I even tripped while carrying my luggage. When I raised my concerns with staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful. I ended up checking out at 00:30 and paying out-of-pocket for another place to stay. Booking.com only refunded me a small portion of what I paid (around 45 AUD out of 300 AUD), despite providing evidence. This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. Please be cautious if you’re considering this place — it does not match the photos or description, and I truly didn’t feel safe staying there.

Overall, a great experience and a nice place to stay.

Friendly owners. They have a great staff and cleaning crew who are always ready to help you. The pools are nice and comfortable with beautiful plants surrounding. The beds are comfortable and they have lockers for your personal items. Location is good. It is a convenient walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and shops.

I think the music goes too late into the night as I see people trying to sleep. Maybe if they cut off the music at 11 o'clock instead of midnight on the weekdays. Later on the weekends is fine. Rented motor scooters are outdated, heavy and cumbersome. I recommend updating with brand new scooters to rent.

This is a great place to stay in Bali. If you are looking for somewhere with plenty of nighttime atmosphere this is definitely to spot to stay at.

For the private rooms, the means of locking the door is a simple padlock which does allow the door to the room to be opened very slightly. However, I was never fearful of thieves during my stay in Bali.

That was fine for just one night.

The location was perfect.

During the night one of the staff entered the room twice to check if there was any available bed!!! I was awake and the first time I told him that everyone was asleep and there wasn't any free bed but again after 10 minutes he came! It was so abnormal that they didn't have information about the rooms.

Beautiful atmosphere for backpackers

The staff was really friendly. Beds were super comfortable. Beds had closing curtains. Beautiful atmosphere at the place. Clean pool. Included a beautiful bar. Billiard tables were available. Sometimes at night there was a live band.

Food and drinks were a little expensive. Lights at the beds were not working - at my bed. None of the bag storages were working. You had to pay for playing billiard.

Nicely situated away from the Main Street so it felt private, only 5 minute walk to the main centre of Canggu.

The Staff there are honestly exceptional! They will help you with anything you need, whenever you need it, super helpful and knowledgeable. They also have a bloody good time and beyond friendly.

If we are being really picky, the pool table and cues could do with some TLC and downstairs toilet, but still is not bad at all.
