We were surprised to find the living room couch did not in fact turn into a bed (it was broken) so my nieces ended up sharing a room which was not what we planned. No locks on most of the windows- do not leave ur personal belongings in here while you go to the beach. The owner came by and said she’d address the issues and I never heard from her again. Left a backpack there and kindly asked for its return, got it more than a month later with rotting food falling out of the pack, had to destroy it from all the black mold (a brand new pack I told her I left and explained how expensive of a pack it was). Just a terrible experience, no accountability from the owner. Asked to have some $$ refunded since we lost use of a promised double bed (the broken sofa bed) and the window lock issue (I was afraid to leave anything valuable in the property) plus it was 85degrees inside which is not comfortable with no fans. Save ur money, get a hotel where they will fix this stuff instead of shrugging and ignoring ur pleas for help. This was a real safety issue and this lady didn’t care.

This property is close to everything. Beach, stores, grocery store, restaurants ... but the place needs a little (a lot) of love and a very (very) good cleaning. Everything was there, but old and not always fully functional. There are 2 microwaves. One works, the other doesn't. The dishwasher is not attached and almost fell out every time we opened it. The stove top was not attached either. Be careful if you use it. The refrigerator bulb didn't work. The pillows are of poor quality. The couch smelled like wet dog. Celling fans are too noisy (and shaky) to be used at night. The windows need to be replaced. They are not solid. The outdoor common areas need a good cleaning and painting. Small details, but they make all the difference between a 4-star and a 3-star property. Note : there is no A/C.

Pros: - Great location - Clean - Beach Toys/Chairs/Towels Provided - Super Responsive Property Manager Cons: - Our rental minivan did not fit in the garage and we purposely chose this property because it came with off-street parking. We had to try and find street parking for our entire stay. The garage will probably fit a small sedan but definitely not a minivan or SUV. I feel like they should be more transparent about the size of the garage in the posting, especially since it is the two-bedroom rentals that have access to the garages and therefore more people and likely a larger car. - The double sofa bed was more like a futon, not a sofa (it was not what is pictured), and it was broken upon arrival. The property manager responded quickly when I told her about it but there wasn't anything offered besides an air mattress with a hand pump. Given that two of my kids had to sleep on a broken and unstable futon instead of a sofa bed, as pictured and advertised, it would have been nice to at least receive some type of discount.

This property was clean and comfortable for a family of five. Best of all, it's about a 3 minute walk to a very nice beach, which made spending plenty of time relaxing by the ocean so easy, especially with younger children. We would definitely stay again.

Close to everything and had enough room for our family of 4. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, garage, and having my kids in their own beds. Lots of restaurants were just down the block. Overall worth it for a long weekend trip. The only snag we hit at check-in was the gate from the garage code wasn't given on our instructions, luckily it matched our front door code so we didn't have to send someone on a jog around. Also walking instructions to find the property were given from the front not the garage so we had to orient ourselves in the dark. The property is dated and kind of felt like staying with Grandma but with a bigger TV and new couch. Pillows that deflate to flat, not the most comfortable bed, and doors that stick due to years of painting. That being said it worked, was in a great location, and I'd stay here again. The kitchen had needs a good cleaning, bigger coffee mugs, and a baking sheet. The oven's seen better days but it worked. The dishwasher had an error code on it so we didn't even try. It was so nice to not worry about parking and just pull into the garage. We had a Nissan Altima that just barely fit if everyone on the passenger side got out before pulling in. Anything wider than that or my h longer wouldnt fit. It was worth it to have guaranteed parking. There's no light in there so be prepared.

This was a beautiful apartment and in the center of everything. We enjoyed beach walks with my daughter and families coming in every day for the wedding. The place was super clean and well-appointed. We had both the bride and groom over for a get-to-know-each-other dinner. The place was perfect for that. Fabulous response from Megan the Property Manager when we could not figure out tv and she went above and beyond replacing lightbulbs. We will return!

The location is amazing!!! Great, quick walk to the beach, to the local restaurants, and to the main PB areas. The condo is well furnished and clean. No air-conditioning was fine as we left the windows open and it was great. The queen bed is squeaky when you move, but comfortable. Although there is a lot of nearby parking, the surfers are quick to grab it. That and the 3 vans being lived out of are our only complaints. We had no issues with the residents and enjoyed our time there!

The property has quirks - the water heater makes strange noises, for example; but after staying there for 30 days we are in love with the area and this particular unit. The proximity to the beach and all kinds of places to eat is hard to beat. Note - there is no AC, but to be honest I did not miss it. The internet speed is decent (I think I measured 150mpbs down at one point). The 1 car garage included with this 2 bedroom unit is a big plus, but street parking is also fairly accessible. Recommended.

The reason for this title is because of the unique and very good location of the apartment, we enjoyed it very much. And the property manager is very responsive. We hope to come back. If you are considering coming with your family to this apartment it is a perfect pick, even not having a/c which is common in the area, was a nice change for us; waking up with the change in noises from the outside world is much pleasant that waking up from any alarm clock. The bikes are a plus, use them, enjoy them, and clean them for others to enjoy after you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Blanca/Avalon, and would love to return. This place had just about everything: It was literally steps to the beach with lots of restaurants, activities and shopping nearby. The beds were awesome! The kitchen was well stocked and clean. There were plenty of extra bath towels. This place had most of the comforts of home, and was for the most part tidy and we loved our stay overall. However, I felt that it was somewhat dusty: the blinds, top of fridge, baseboards, and window sills could have used some dusting. Some suggestions if I may: In the kitchen an extra kitchen towel or two, an extra roll of paper towels, a blender and a strainer for pasta. In the bathroom, the tub drained very slowly, and the door was difficult to open. An extra tub mat and roll of TP would have also been nice as we stayed a week. The guide also needs some updating, the laundry mat is no longer in existence, or the address is incorrect. The trash bin codes did not seem to work, we could not open to dispose of trash. We also did not find the free bottle of wine☹️. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend.

The property was exactly as it looked in pictures, a little more worn then expected. We had issues with the water heater and did not have a response at all from the manager, we emailed twice. It was alarmingly loud when water was used. Still no response or idea what the cause was. The location is excellent, less than a block from the beach, parking was easy. One of the twin beds has a mattress in really poor condition which impacted getting a good nights sleep. The walls and floors are also thin which impacted sleep as well (we could hear the person downstairs snoring throughout the night). Overall a fine experience. The price point is good for the location and layout.

This location was perfect! Close enough to walk to the store and coffee shop, as well as the beach. Perfect to watch the sunset every night! Property clean and safe! Great having a garage to keep surf boards and beach stuff safe! We found that we could always find a place to park close - without having to park in back. Look forward to staying here again! Management was available and accommodating!

We had a great time! We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and finding a place can sometimes be challenging, but this location was great! A 2 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops in walking distance! There were a ton of other families with children in the other units which was a blast for our boys and made the vacation even more relaxing! It was a quick and easy run to the boardwalk for my husband and I each day! Would definitely go back, and even contemplating getting more family to come stay in the other units for a mini family reunion! Loved it!
