Wonderful place to stay and explore the Bregaglia Alps

We really liked the lovely, clean, historic village of Castasegna. The apartment building is far enough above the highway and customs buildings, so that you have quiet. Though a church bell chimes on the hour, it is far enough away that it is not distressing. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The bed was very comfortable: firm enough, but also soft. The pillows were great: supportive and soft. It was wonderful to live for five days in the elegance of a family home. The living room and bedroom walls are covered in finely-crafted wood. Though the location is at a very low elevation, you get nice breezes coming down the valley and flowing at cross-angles to keep you cool. We hiked several days up near Majola Pass. We stayed down lower here at Castasegna to save a lot of money, and get a larger apartment. You can drive down valley just five minutes (into Italy) to a small and well-stocked grocery store. Be sure to drive one evening up to village of Soglio. Walk the easy paths out of town (upvalley) for a magnificent view of the Bregaglia Alps.

The stay was great, If you like a quiet place to relax in Bregaglia CH this is a great place to be.

The location is great in a quiet village. We communicated with the host by phone, what worked well. The entrance was well marked and the key to the apartment was easy to find. The apartment is om the 2nd floor accessible by stairs The property was very clean and we found everything we needed during our stay. The beds are great, and the kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. There is also a possibility to sit in the nice garden with is around the property.

very nice place, very big, clean and cozy

finding the place was not that easy. tried to call, but apparently Italian was the only available language and we don’t reach any communication. we searched for the place for quite some time. additionally, at least 10-12 flies were in the apartment, which made the sleeping process not that easy. apart from that all good, really nice place

Beautiful vintage appartment

Despite the constant noise from downstairs (very thin walls) and the waking thereof every night, the rest was great. Absolute beautiful appartment in a great location just in the town centre. Appartment had everything we needed and the check-in and -out was very easy. The Bergell valey is stunning and we hope to visit the valey again sometime :)

There is not much, but be warned if you are sensible to noise, the walls are very thin, and we heared the tv or radio from donwstairs all day and sometimes woke during the night and early morning when the neighbors started talking loudly. We used to sit in the kitchen during the day, where it was more quiet.

Superb

Beautiful apartment in a pretty village. Very good value for money. We stayed to ski in Corvatsch, about 30 drive through the Maloja pass. Helpful host despite not being on site. Clean and comfortable. Underfloor heating in hallway and bathroom was nice!

Maybe a bit cold, but there were extra heaters that we could have used.

Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bietet viel. Wir die Wohnung vorbereitet war (Willkommensschild + Sekt) war sehr sympathisch

Wir haben einen Toaster und ein Tiefkühlfach vermisst (hätten wir wirklich gebraucht). Der Parkplatz für das Haus ist nur für kleine Autos wegen der Zufahrt (ich hatte leider ein grosses)

fijne tijd doorgebracht in dit mooie gebouw met erg mooie tuin

de uitstraling van het ruime appartement en het hele gebouw en de ligging in het erg mooie dorpje en zeker de erg mooie tuin waar je heerlijk kon zitten, goede wifi tot zelfs in de tuin. tip: aangezien je pal tegen de italiaanse grens zit is het (veel) goedkoper om in italie te winkelen en is er in chiavenna een grote lidl op 15 min. rijden

er was geen vriezer aanwezig zodat we elke dag verse producten moesten halen, van de tv begreep ik niets en is dus ook niet gebruikt, het hele appartement had een mooie koloniale uitstraling en dan staat er in de keuken een foeilelijke knalrode keuken wat eigenlijk totaal niet past bij de rest maar verder wel gewoon goed was. bij aankomst eigenaar gebeld omdat we geen idee hadden hoe en waar we binnen moesten en waar de sleutel was, deze bleek op de deur te steken op de 1e verdieping

Die Wohnung war in einem authentischen Haus aus dem Bergell mit entsprechender Einrichtung ausgestattet und man hat die Geschichte gespürt.

Sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung in toller Lage und mit sehr hilfsbereitem Besitzer!

Die Unterkunft bietet drei Schlafzimmer und ist sehr gemütlich. Besonders die Ausstattungsdetails wie Wanderkarten haben uns sehr gefallen und waren sehr nützlich. Die Unterkunft liegt toll im Herzen des kleinen, aber pittoresken Orts Castasegna, Von hier erreicht man schnell das Oberengadin als auch die Stadt Chiavenna in Italien. Die Bus-Anbindung ist erstklassig. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Besitzers Lorenzo. Bei Fragen antwortete er sehr schnell.

Die Wohnung war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, von der Küche angefangen bis hin zu einem Klavier im Wohnzimmer. Überall sind kleine Easter Eggs versteckt, wie alte Bilder von dem Ort, was der Ferienwohnung einen gewissen Charme verleiht.

Super gut erkennbar angeschrieben, herzlicher Empfang mit handgeschriebenem Kärtchen, Schlüssel steckte. Wunderschöne alte Holztäferstube mit Klavier, schönes Bad, nette kleine Küche. Blick auf den Garten der Villa Garbald.

Een heel ruim appartement met mooie uitzichten op de bergen en de vallei. Zeer degelijk en voldoende uitgerust van materialen.

Het enige minpunt was het ontbreken van een handgreep in de douche; als je wat ouder wordt en veilig je voeten wil wassen ....
