Fairly large room. Pretty good location.

Front counter staff didn’t appear to be enjoying their job.

The Hotel was located very close to the Station and the Bus terminal, Very easy checking in, Staff were very good and the Onsen was amazing, Beds were very comfy and the rooms were quiet, as a place to stay in Takayama it is very good

Located in the quieter part of Takayama and just beside the train station. Two supermarkets and a huge pharmacy just two blocks away. McDonalds just beside the hotel. There’s happy hour when you can enjoy a free glass of any available drink (alcohol, soda, beer, coffee) and happy dinner as well of curry rice (single serving). Free coffee at the lobby from 3pm onwards. My corner room has a small foyer which is effective in muffling hallway noise.

Nothing really but it is always a struggle where to place huge luggage inside a narrow hotel room. Freezerless mini-refrigerator. Takayama charges accommodation tax on top of the daily room rate. Paid additional 400 yen for four nights.

Good location, right next to the train station. Takayama old town and Hida no Sato are both within walking distance. The amenities provided are good.

They offer a lot of free amenities, but then are very weird about it. There are signs with rules on what not to do everywhere and some of the staff are borderline rude. There was zero flexibility. We arrived 15 minutes before check-in time and they looked at us as if we'd grown 2 heads.
