Nestled in the hill country by a 7000 acre preserve 30 minutes from Austin, Casa Mora, home for all seasons, is a tastefully decorated 3-bedroom 2 bath stone home on 2.5 acres with a secluded private pool and game room.
A perfect base to explore the energy of Austin and the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country with lakes, charming town squares, vineyards, breweries and distilleries. Or sit on the front porch or the secluded back deck with your complementary glass of wine and nature watch at your home away from home.
Casa Mora features an open floor plan: gourmet kitchen; warmly decorated living room with electric fireplace and French doors that open to outdoor patio, BBQ, eating area, outdoor fire pit, pool and expansive grounds; romantic master bedroom (queen) with electric fireplace, bath with claw foot tub and shower separated from guest bedroom (double) and office/guest (trundle with two twins). Hall bath serves both rooms.
We continually make improvements to the property: new leather couches and electric fireplace in living room; new bedding, linen and comforters in all bedrooms; electric fireplace in master bedroom; new trundle bed and desk in guest room/office; new dishes and glassware in kitchen; mosaic table imported from Morocco in outdoor dining area; newly painted porch and steps.
The quiet is exquisite. Birds and wildlife abound. The neighborhood is secure- there's only one road in and out with only occasional car traffic. Jester King Brewery and Pizza and Beerburg Brewery/restaurant are about one mile away. Many wineries, distilleries, restaurants and Texas Olive Oil Company and town of Dripping Springs are nearby.

Amazing relaxing setting that included quiet afternoons by the pool and incredible fun ping pong tournament in the evenings. Our host was readily accessible should we need anything.

Love, love, love this place. The pool was lovely, the beds comfortable, and cooking space worked well. I am looking forward to returning.

It was peaceful and we had everything we needed. The pool was amazing, and our time spent there was wonderful. We saw some deer and felt completely safe nestled among the trees.

The home is cozy but required some maintenance (i.e. leaky water valve behind refrigerator that left puddles in the kitchen two of the three days we were there, broken pool skimmer, plaster coming off of pool, obvious wear and tear of property). Unfortunately, we had a rough start to our stay with an incorrect code for the front door, a large puddle of water in the kitchen floor, an unkempt house (cleaning team had not showed up before our stay-we did not show up until after 4:30 on check in day), no linens on the beds (I found extra sheets and made up our own bed, washed the comforter for our bed, and waited on the cleaning team to manage the other bedrooms), no towels in the bathrooms (the towels were in the washing machine so I washed our own towels), and dirt/crumbs all over the home. We reached out to the owners, who were very nice and responsive-they provided timely responses with any inquiries before and during our stay. They had the cleaning team come out that evening to clean the home and set up the bathrooms/bedrooms for us, which was nice, but it had been a long, exhausting day for us and all we wanted to do was relax when we arrived at the home. The house itself is somewhat secluded but close enough to shopping/dining/entertainment. The house is small but was perfect for two families getting together over a weekend. While we appreciated the responsiveness of the owners, our overall stay was disappointing.
