About this house rental
Writer's Repose is a renovated two-bedroom, decorated lovingly with contemporary furnishings and original artwork, creating an uncluttered and comfortable home away from home for up to 6 Lucky guests (maximum four adults and two children per Savannah STVR regulations).
The main entrance opens into the dining room with a table that sits six set against a wall of shelves featuring board games and books to entertain your group. Just down a short hallway is the open living space, which incorporates the kitchen, with its new stainless steel appliances and recessed bead board ceiling, and a breakfast bar. Sliding glass doors lead out to the private, brick-paved patio, where you can relax in the shade of the landscaped greenery and pergola overhead, enjoying the sweet smell of Southern jasmine, as you dine al fresco.
Upstairs you’ll find two serene bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed with luxurious memory foam mattress. The shared bathroom has a combined tub and shower. Both bedrooms have ample closet space.
Located just three blocks from iconic Forsyth Park, you’ll love strolling through the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays, or one of many festivals hosted there throughout the year. You’ll be just down the street from the only full service beer, wine and spirit shop and full-size grocery store in downtown Savannah.

This property was perfect for my son and I to enjoy family weekend at SCAD:) The property was clean and spacious and we enjoyed being able to walk to so many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location. We had the best first visit to Savannah. The rental was so comfortable and had everything we could need for our stay. The half bath was so convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would 100% stay again.

This home was the perfect location for us. It was very comfortable and had what we needed. Communication was great with the office! They were able to accommodate our needs and responded back in a timely matter. The kitchen has dishes but isn’t “fully” stocked with items to make meals, so you’ll need to pack any extras..(no problem for us because the food in Savannah is worth the trip!) The home walking distance to everything we needed a the area felts very safe. I would stay here again!

Space was clean, spacious for four, and comfortable. Management company was quick to respond to questions and issues. Biggest problem: back sliding glass door lock was broken. We called management they came out and “fixed” the issue. When we opened the door again to use the back area the door lock would not work again. We had to jiggle the lock and play with it to make is fall into place. The lock needs replacement. This was off putting since the unit is on the ground floor.Other than that the unit was nice. Walking distance to coffee shops and river side shops. Quite neighborhood. Parking was give and take. It’s first come first serve on street.
