Makani Sands #310 Spacious Corner 3brm Ocean Front

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious rental with two BIG lanai’s with non-stop whale action almost the whole trip. Tammy the property manager is the BEST and will help with anything you need! She was one of our favorite parts of our trip and one of the reasons we rebooked before we even left!!!!

Internet was good, Air condition was good (must close sliding doors) washer, dryer, lot of kitchen utensils and very spacious. We enjoyed every part of the house. The property is absolutely amazing!! Better in person that the description and pictures!! The view…… breathtaking! Tammy was WONDERFUL!! We will be telling family and friends about this place!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the grounds and view was spectacular, our condo was very outdated, soiled furniture, needs some fresh paint on the trim/doors and just had a dirty feel to it. There was a very pungent odor in the condo when we first arrived and other intermittent days. Not sure why.
We paid for a late fee that meant we could stay in the condo until 9:00 pm on our checkout day, due to a late night flight off the island. I had checked with the management, as I noted the late check out fee on our statement, but it said we were still checking out at 11:00am. I emailed the management of Makani Sands and was assured we could stay in the condo until 9:00 pm on our check out day. A family member went to the front desk around 10:00 AM to find out where we needed to leave our door keys as the office would be closed by the time we left. “Debbie” at the front desk asked what unit the family member was in. The family member told Debbie we were leaving around 6:30 PM. Debbie rather rudely yield the family member we needed to leave “now” and the new renters were standing right there and pointed at some other guests. I went and spoke to Debbie and she reviewed statements I had and emails that had been sent. She said “yes you’re right” and never apologized for the way she spoke to the other family member. She did say it would be too late for the cleaning crew to clean if we didn’t leave until 6:30 pm. We stayed in the condo as planned and around 4:30-5:00 pm 2 women walked right into our condo without knocking. They claimed they were renting the condo and were expecting to be in later that day. They claimed management had told them something needed to be repaired in the condo so they couldn’t get in until later after check in time which was at 3:00 PM.
I would recommend this property, but not unit 310.
