Clean & Affordable Beach Condo - Just Steps from the Sand!

I think this is a very nice condo for a couple to get away. It is listed for 2-5, but 5 was very cramped. There is also only enough bedding for 4. Gary, The owner is super nice guy who will accommodate you if your stay isn’t quite what you expected. I would return with my wife but NOT with my family. Minor updates need to happen to the condo as well, but nothing major.

Easy access right next to the beach, well lit parking lot, close to shopping. Very clean and nice condo. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our second visit to Gary’s condo. We had a great time once again and found it difficult to leave. The condo was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the bed was great for my back. Gary is always prompt at responding and allowed us to check in early. The condo is as advertised and the beach is always gorgeous. I will keep coming back.

We had a wonderful time and loved the location of this condo! It was so cute and perfect space for my family. The owners are very nice and communicated with us well. Easy check in and clear expectations for check out. We will be booking here again!!!

We've loved coming to Tropical isle and Okaloosa island! The beach access is fantastic, the pool is always clean, and the property has been a perfect fit for our family of 4 with 2 young boys. We've stayed in 3 different rooms and all were great.

Right on the beach. Small condo was perfect for what we needed. the pool was always clean and not super crowded. We enjoyed our stay

Easy process, clean room, nice features, short walk to the sand, store right next door, private part of the beach that's not over crowded. Only suggestion would be a mattress topper for the bed, it's pretty firm. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries n pots and pans. Would love to stay again!

We stay on Okaloosa very often. This spot surprised us at how nice and convenient it was. The beach access is directly behind the unit and not crowded at all. Pool was clean. Condo was clean and had ALL of the amenities we needed! We are thankful the owners allowed to use it for vacation. Tom thumb being next door was also very nice. Thanks again

We love this place, great location, great condo, it’s very small but as long as you don’t mind closeness it’s great. This was our second stay at this location and same condo and we will probably stay again next summer.

Overall, we had a great stay & it really is just a few steps to the beach which is awesome. 😊 Perfect gateway for just me and my fiancé.

The property was perfect for 2 people. Plenty of room and right out the backdoor is the beach! How great is that? The only change I would suggest is replace the bedroom curtains with blackout curtains and just put some type of curtain on the front window. For me there was just too much light at night. Other than that, a great place to stay. Thank you very much.

Nice condo with easy beach access. Everything you need for a beach vacation. Cold air conditioning! Nice clean rooms. Owner was quick to respond when messaged. Would definitely recommend this property and looking forward to staying again in the future!

Never received check in information like stated would be received. Contacted owner, Mr Gary. He was quick about sending the information. Got a message from VRBO that we could check in early. Arrived 2 hours after text to find cleaning person still in condo with little done. Cleaning overall is surface level. So many built up dusty areas. Area is OK. A LOT of riff raff goes on in the Tom Thumb parking lot. The pool. My kids loved it. Our first 2 days, however, couldn't be used because it was disgusting. Finally a company came along and cleaned it. The pool area is supposed to have hours. However, it is a party haven after dark. It is nicely located near many food options. Stewbys was very good. The walk through the parking lot and across the walk was nice to the beach. The walls are paper thin. You can literally hear everything from the adjoining units. The one to the right liked to play their TV or music especially loud at night. Bring a fan to help drown it out! AC unit can only go down to 68. Inconvenient for those who prefer it cooler...like we do. The unit advertises that it sleeps 5. And that all towels and linens are provided. Sleeps 5 but only 4 towels were left. Laundry is on site, sure. But who wants to pay $3 a day to wash towels so they can shower again? The kitchen is adequately stocked with anything that would be necessary to cook. When the pull out bed is out there is no room to walk through the living room or to the kitchen from the bedroom. And if there are 2 people in the pull out, the one closest to the front door has to climb over the other person in the bed to go to the bathroom. One remote for the two tvs is also an inconvenience. Roaches. Yes, Roaches. The first night we were there they made their appearance in the bathroom. We seriously considered bailing but had prepaid for some expensive excursions. So, we Googled quick ideas and found coffee grounds ward them off. We laid coffee grounds in all normal roach traveled areas. And, slept with all the lights on from then on! We were not the only guests who found roaches during the time we were there. Our son was in the pull and announced that they were found in our unit. A couple that was staying said they too found roaches. Cant be a coincidence. Spent 5 nights after spending 4 at a hotel in the area. Overall, we left wishing we would have extended our stay at the hotel.

Excellent little condo. Clean. Everything works as it should. Location is great. Owner could not have been nicer/easier to communicate with. Would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed on Okaloosa before but this was our first time at Tropical Isle. Our family loved this little condo. It was very clean and decorated adorable. The back door and porch was a plus, parking was steps away, and the beach was literally out the back door. We would definitely stay again. Any correspondence that I had with the owner was prompt, and he was very nice. Thank you again.

This property was so nice! The few steps out the back door to the beach access was closer than expected, the appearance of the condo out did the pictures, there were little extras everywhere you turned. The area was quiet and we felt safe. There is a store in walking distance. There is a private porch with a table and chairs in the back. Our only complaint was the couch bed was uncomfortable, which is pretty common for couch beds. Children could probably be fine sleeping on it being light weight however.

This was a wonderful experience. The property owners are super quick to respond, the condo is absolutely lovely, the beach access is about 10 steps from your back door. It’s not beach view but for the price and how close you are to the beach it was amazing. We loved our stay here I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

Everything was great. Booking was easy. The owners communicated with us keeping us informed. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Literally a minute or two walk to the beach. And the convenient store next door was a big plus. I have nothing bad to say about our stay. Definitely hope to be back there!

This property is a great location and very close to the beach. It is an effortless walk out the door of the condo to that public access. The Condo was great for our get away. Does need some up dating. But the location was very convenient To all the restaurants and was very quiet. Over all great place to stay.

Would definitely reccomend this to a couple or small family. Location was perfect to run out back to the beach!

Great location , room had everything we needed

We have stayed 3 years now. This year we stayed for two months. Looking forward to next year, without the Covid virus. Two months is perfect..... Just starts getting HOT when we leave!

The pictures looked exactly like the condo! Very clean and easy access for checking in and out! The location is great and if you love the beach it’s literally right out back! Property managers always responded back quickly and were extremely helpful with all of our questions! Highly recommend! Very affordable! Family friendly! Thanks again!

My overall experience was fantastic! This condo is reasonably priced and it’s in a great location just steps from the beach access. I was slightly disappointed that there were not many restaurants conveniently located close by.

Nice little condo just steps from the beach. It was nice having a Tom Thumb right next store for all my beach beers. A two minute walk to the beach. It was very nice.

Everything looked nice and clean However, The condo smelled like cigarettes. We dont smoke and it was very noticable. I am not complaining because we bought some lysol spray and wipes, I sprayed and I cleaned and it was ok. The new balcony looks great. You have a very nice condo and thank you for renting to us.
