Belle Vue Cabin

The location is perfect for exploring Whitby. There are lots of very thoughtful touches in the apartment and a very well equipped kitchen.

Lee and kerry were great hosts and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable and had everything you needed for a long weekend booked again for September because we enjoyed our stay so much.

Nothing to dislike

What a near perfect apartment, spotlessly clean and very local to everything. Has everything we needed including hair dryer & straighteners, plenty of tea/coffee & sugar in the kitchen area, they also supplied cleaning stuff under the sink, cloths and a tea towel plus handwash/toilet roll in the bathroom and lovely big towels in the bedroom. The welcome pack was amazing and much appreciated too - parking permit, pint of milk, wine, cake & biscuits and even some gorgeous flowers in the living room which I forgot to take home with me, my favourite flowers too! The living room was very comfortable, has books, DVDs and some games, the Wi-Fi is decent and also a DVD player, the information booklet was really handy too, and the kitchen has everything you need but we only made drinks/had snacks and didn't cook anything but looked like there was everything there you would need to good a good meal. The bathroom is superb, and the shower is lovely but I couldn't work out the taps so didn't have a bath - no big deal for me and if required I could of contacted the owner to ask as they are very accommodating with help if needed (which I did and they was awesome). The only things that let it down for us was:- 1, the bedroom is very small, the bed is really comfortable and the bedding is lovely, plus decent pillows - just small and compact, plus the tv is small and up high so didn't really use that and no sockets next to the bed, the wood walls & ceiling is a bit overpowering but this would not put us off coming back, infact we are rebooked in for later on in the year. And just an additional note, the heating is really easy to use and very quick at heating the place up so would be lovely and cosy in the winter. And.. 2, the TV could do with being a bit bigger, but that is being really picky, we still watched TV and a couple of DVDs of an evening no problem. Can't wait to go back!!

Just the compactness of the bedroom really, maybe if the wood was removed it would have a little more space but would defiantly make the room feel bigger. And the small TVs, but like I said, it would not put us off coming back again and again, and we have already recommended it to two of our friends, I really hope they get it booked and enjoy the stay as much as we did!
