Derby Apart Hotel

Amazing hotel ❤️ lady from the reception was so kind and polite, gave us directions for attractions and how to book in the future, the apartment was beautiful and clean with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby 🥰

The rooms were perfectly fine, the apartment was clean, and there was parking, which made the stay comfortable and pleasant

No elevator

We booked three apartments at Derby Apartment Hotel as we were a large family traveling with two one-year-old babies. The host was very accommodating, providing two cribs for us even though they weren’t initially listed — something we greatly appreciated. The apartments were spotless, with large comfortable beds, modern amenities, and AC in each unit. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, and the location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the Alba Iulia Citadel. The receptionist was extremely kind, easy to talk to, and very helpful throughout our stay. If we return to Alba Iulia, we’ll definitely book here again.

I liked everything about this property - very comfortable room with a small kitchen (no stovetop), great shower, excellent mattress and pillows, and a quiet location. Staff were very friendly and obviously wanted you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Plenty of coffee/tea and water. Just a few minutes walking to the back entrance of the Citadel.

My only concern was not being all that close to a grocery store/market. Many guests here seem to have a car, I’m using public transport, and this looked like a good option between the train station and Citadel. I enjoyed the room, and would definitely book again (it’s a great value), just be aware you’ll need to plan ahead while out and about.
