Spectacular cottage in a beautiful location. This is a real hidden gem. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome and to enhance your stay. A lot of effort has been made to ensure the safety of the location, the host is a true professional who has been doing this for some time. The premises clearly generates a lot of repeat custom so if you see it available do not hesitate to book I know I would love to go back there. There are so many great walks both from the doorstep and in the locality we only scratched the surface. There are 2 excellent pubs only a short walk away without having to go on any main roads. The cottage is extremely dog friendly as are the 2 pubs I just mentioned. We were staying with a baby in our party and every effort was made to accomodate the needs of the baby and its parents. The cottage is very well stocked so we didn't need to take a lot of things with us. We particularly enjoyed sitting out and dining in the beautiful garden enjoying views of the surrounding hills when the weather was nice. A lot of information was provided beforehand to make sure our arrival was smooth and we had no trouble locating the property. It really is every bit as good as the photos suggest.

It is an an amazingly well equipped house. Every detail taken care of, cot, coffee machine, complimentary fizz, bread and milk. Wonderful sun room. Fantastic views. Seeing the Herons.

Shower could do with hand holds, a bit slippy. Nearest pubs / restaurants are in the next door village a pleasant 30 minute walk. Nearest shop is Tebay Services or Kirkby Stephen No public transport
