About this house rental
Waterfall house is a unique and stunning 36-acre property with a stream & multiple waterfalls. A true get-away-from-it-all place. This mid-century modern style home offers 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. The large, modern kitchen has an induction range, gas fireplace, and glass walls offering a view of the stream and the woods. The master bath has a separate tub and a steam shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed and views into the woods through huge windows.
The second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third can be either two twins or a king. The second bath has a tub/shower combination.
Outdoors, take a walk along the marked pathway through the woods, and you’ll find your own private waterfall. Or enjoy the hot tub, right off the back deck, and gaze into the woods. Bad weather? We have a 6.5' pool table to provide amusement until the sun comes back out! And in the warmer weather (3rd weekend in May through the 3rd weekend in September) we have a heated pool.
Yet, for all of the privacy, you are not isolated. You are only about 12 minutes away from the local grocery store and the center of friendly Saugerties, with all of its marvelous restaurants, antique stores, and HITS. In just 18 minutes, you can be in the center of Woodstock for a different kind of experience.
This property is very special. Renovated according to the design of a leading Hudson Valley architect, this one-story house takes the utmost advantage of the landscape. Mountains on one side, stream on another, magnificent woods all around—and you can see it no matter where you are in the house. Bridges lead across the stream, there is a seating area over the water, and you’ll find an old-fashioned swing hanging from a tree limb.
The house is very child friendly. We have some toys and games for the little ones, and there is a HUGE outdoor sandbox for the really little ones. Plenty of play space, too. We also have a Pack ‘N Play and Highchair. And, of course, the 6.5' pool table.
What else? Well, for the musician in you, if you are so inclined, we have an electric keyboard.

Great place to stay while visiting the Catskills area. Beautiful house and property, hot tub and steam shower were both awesome after spending a day out snowboarding.

I’ve been using VRBO for years. I think this was my favorite house. The communication with the property manager was outstanding, the cleanliness of the home, and fully stocked house. I can go on and on. I will definitely be back!

There is only 1 TV in the whole house. An additional TV in the master bedroom would have been great and an easy addition to upgrade. The beds are not very comfortable and caused a bit of a struggle at night. The couches are also very uncomfortable. The location and the property were just fantastic. The hot tub was perfect. But overall I would not stay again since sleeping was not good at all. And then when we wanted to relax in the living room (which is beautiful with all windows and a fireplace) we could not be comfortable there either.
