Come, stay & play at our oasis, Vista Mare is a Casual Coastal third floor condo located just steps from the sugar white sands of the gulf of Mexico. The Ambiance of the Beach is breath taking. Your life will stand still , move slower as you stay at this three story cozy quaint complex . It's the perfect location in Destin for a lovers romantic week-end get-away or a family vacation making memories of a life time. You will enjoy staying, living the lifestyle in this amazing Beach community called Crystal Beach. The streets are lined with Palm trees, the breeze is always cool, sand is always sugar white and the waters are always emerald green.
When you arrive, to the condo and start planning your days you will have a hard time trying to decide if you want to enjoy the beach that is just steps away, or spend the day at the pool & hot tub. Maybe you will decide to use the grilling area, to cook for dinner on the balcony while watching the sun-set. In the morning you will be waking up to see the Emerald Green Waters. You can start your day by sitting on the balcony to enjoy your breakfast . Remember to savor some time later in the afternoon for just sitting with your favorite beverage or book watching the water dance.
We love watching the boats go by. No matter what you decide to do or how you spend your days, you will be glad that you came and will leave refreshed ,rested, and relaxed. We would love to share our home with you year after year , helping you make your family memories. Miles & I have been coming to Destin for many years, always anticipating our 'Beach Trips' with our family. We live in Milton ,Georgia. We are planning to one day retire and live happily ever after at the beautiful area. The family loves it !!
You will be within minutes to many amazing restaurants and enough shopping to shop until you drop, Whole foods, Publix ,Winn Dixie, Fresh Market, are all within a couple of miles. Destin commons is just across Hwy 98 and has 100's of name brand stores, along with some awesome eateries. Walk down to Camille's restaurant it’s just down on the corner. Have some lunch, Feel the breeze while you listen to music playing outside by the beach. There is Beach t-shirt Shoppes, Alvin Islands, on all corners. The Premier Outlet Silver Sands is just about 3 miles. Don't forget The Grande Boulevard Sandestin shopping center. Market Place of Sandestin. You must make the 4 mile trip to t he Emeralde Grande at Harbor Walk to enjoy the strip, events? See the Charter boats come in with the catch for the day.
Want to play Golf ? There are many top rated golf courses here on the Emerald Coast. To name a few Indian Bayou, Kelly Plantations, Ragatta, Burnt Pines, Blue Water Bay, Eglin and many more. The children will love Big Kahuna's water park, The Track, Golf Carts, Take a Helicopter ride over the Beach, remember to save a night to visit Baytowne Wharf it's just inside Sandestin Resort, the entire family will have a blast.
Remember that Seaside is only about 15 mins down 30A. This is the seaside town that they filmed the Truman show at. It's a must visit.

Host checked in to make sure everything was good. Let us check in a little early since the cleaning crew was done early. Location was great. Pool was warm and good to have that in addition to the proximity to the beach. Unit could use a little updating and some fresh paint on doors and cabinets, but all in all it’s a great condo and location.

Perfect spot for easy beach access and also ocean views from the condo. Great location. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property.

This place was great! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. When we had questions there was zero wait time for a response! although a little out dated it felt like home. The view was great and access to the beach was amazing. Now when they say hair dryer I recommend you bring your own. There is also no elevator which was a little inconvenient but not to much work with the steps right outside the door. The owner even called and made sure I trip was going well. Access to the shops and everything we wanted to do was no more than 15 minutes with the traffic. I would recommend this place to everyone. You didnt hear the neighbors and could see the pool from your balcony. all and all a great place. plus the beds were super comfortable.

This property wasnt bad but it just needed some proper maintenance. We needed a place to stay for our trip and it was perfect as far as location to the beach for a reasonable price. Here are some things you may want to know before you rent. The host did not communicate very well. Sometimes I would go days without a response. You may want to call the number provided if you do not get a timely response.
It is on the third floor with no elevator only stairs. The hallway bathroom has a plug hanging away from the wall, the toilet was leaking and we had to change towels out behind the toilet all week to keep the floor dry, and the vanity light had one ballast that was broken and hanging down. There were multiple spots on the laminate floor where glue was exposed and broken pieces of the flooring were exposed so becareful walking bare foot. The couch had a masive rip in it behind the cushions and the pillows were spewing feathers all over the place making them uncomfortable to sit on. With all that being said we still enjoyed our trip because we used the place with the intention of holding our stuff while we enjoyed the beach and Destin as a whole. Not a bad place just needs some repair work done.
