About this house rental
Just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy an almost private beach with no public parking for over a mile. Your nearly private beach is at mile marker 66a, walking distance to Tiki Hut. The location is halfway between Coligny and Sonesta.
What's new this year: New Furniture!! Updated pictures wll be avaiable soon!! We have painted the inside, we now have beach towels and upgraded WIFI, 300/30 mbps throughout house including pool area. Six new super comfy pool lounge chairs have arrived from Frontgate.
There is a fee for pool heater and chiller.
Two ovens, two refrigerators and two dishwashers in a fully equipped kitchen!!

North Forest Beach is the place to be for a family vacation. Located .7 of a mile from Coligny Plaza via bike trails or car.
House comes with two wagons, beach chairs loaded in wagon, large cooler loaded in wagon, sand shovels and buckets all loaded up with chairs - all you need for some fantastic beach time!! See photos..... just add ice and beverages!!
Some attractions near Forest Beach include the famous Van Der Meer Tennis Center, miniature golf, and bike trails that span the entire island. Forest Beach also includes a seasonal Forest Beach Shuttle Service that services North and South Forest Beach Avenues, Coligny Plaza, and Sea Crest Resort. There are miles of white sandy beaches that are ideal for walking, biking, jogging, and fishing.

Enjoy the beach, bike paths, and restaurants of North Forest Beach on the south end of Hilton Head Island. Five bedrooms sleep ten comfortably in beach cottage with private pool, outdoor kitchen and fenced in yard complete with swings and slide.
Cleanliness and comfort are a high priority for us. We keep the house allergy free so no pets. High quality linens and plush towels are included.
Golf and tennis are nearby in Shipyard neighborhood which has three nine-hole golf courses and the world known Van Der Meer tennis center.
Lots of dining options at Coligny Center and Pope Avenue. If you are the eat-in type, ride your bike to Piggly Wiggly at Coligny to shop for the freshest local seafood on the island.
The house offers two master suites, and three bedrooms for the kids and other guests, 3.5 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower.
Walk
The pool is 16' X 35' and is surrounded by lush vegetation which makes for a private, peaceful setting to enjoy your family gatherings. Enjoy palmettos and ancient live oaks in a garden of gardenias, hibiscus, citrus trees and camellias.
The house is an original North Forest Beach house which underwent a thorough renovation.
Kitchen area includes two refrigerators, two dish washers and double ovens. For those who prefer to be outside in the pool area, enjoy preparing your meals on the outdoor grill.
Hardwood floors throughout ensure cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere.
This is a family neighborhood and is perfect for a reunion or family celebration.
Both large indoor and outdoor dining areas seat 10. A breakfast bar in the kitchen and a board game/reading room are separate from the main gathering area where the wood burning fireplace is located under a coffered ceiling.
In addition the grilling area is a fire pit which requires a recreational burn permit from the Town of Hilton Head via the local fire department (located just off Pope Avenue by the entrance to Shipyard). It's a great way to enjoy a marshmallow roast.
Wifi through out including poolside. Five televisions, dvd.
No pets, no smoking, no parties please. Strict no parties policy. You will be subject to a $2000 fine for unapproved gatherings.

Beautiful house, close to the beach. Comfy beds and quiet neighborhood. House was very spacious and accommodated 9 people easily. Host was extremely responsive, thoughtful and communicated well before and during the trip.

We were on a family vacation - five adults, a 14 year old girl, a five year old boy and a 6 year old boy. The place worked really well for us. The pool was the highlight - especially for the boys.

The listing showed 6 bedrooms, 3 queens, 2 with twins and 1 with a trundle. Supposedly able to sleep 12. The site has now been amended after the fact. The owners told us, after arriving that we can only sleep 10.. The website shows 8 beds. There are not. There are only 4 bedrooms. The 3 queens, ONE with Twin and an office with a trundle. The office has no closet, dresser or accommodations for clothes. One of the queens has no dresser or accommodations for clothes except a closet. There are 2 bathrooms with showers. The bath with tub only has a hand held shower device. The bathroom in the "master" has a louvered door which is on backward allowing my grandsons to see into the bathroom from the outside. Very upsetting. The house is nice but it's not 200 yards from the beach. The corner of Mallard and North Forest might be 200 yards to the beach but the house is much further from the street. We had an older guest we had to drive to the beach but could easily walk 200 yards. The furniture was less than perfect. A kitchen stool was very wobbly and unsafe. A chair in the breakfast nook was broken and unsafe. Some of the furniture had holes in the arms covered by doilies. The dining room chairs were very stained and one is almost black. The house is nice, the kitchen very nice, and the pool was very nice and the owners tried to fix issues for us. Unfortunately, we were misled about how many beds there were and were left to camp it out on air mattresses. Knowing the facts I would have never booked this house. My first experience with VRBO left me very unsatisfied. Some refund is appropriate in my mind.
