Walk To St. John's Beautiful North Shore Beaches!Newly Renovated/AirConditioned

Great property!

My family of 4, with 2 teens, stayed had an incredible week on St John. The villa was fantastic, most specifically the deck with breathtaking views, the well appointed villa, and truly the perfect location; walk to Francis Bay, hike to Watermelon Cay, only minutes from North Shore Beaches, and close enough to Coral Bay and Salt Pond. The first evening after check in, we walked to Francis Bay and were swimming with turtles within minutes prior to an epic sunset. The property managers, Luciah and her husband, were amazingly helpful, responsive, and just lovely people. Meeting them added to our enjoyment of the week. Ask them anything! I wish I had asked a few more because the villa is so well equipped with cooking staples, beach and snorkeling gear that we could have packed a little lighter had we known. The listing could be updated to mention some of these amenities?Some things about the place could use a little updating and paint refresh. But as is, it's the perfect place at the right price point.One major thing of note, two of the bedrooms are en suite rooms detached from the main 1 bedroom house. One of these rooms turned out to be unusable for us as it was down under a deck and felt too dark and remote (an isolated feeling, which could be great for certain groups especially couples!!) for my teen son. He opted to sleep on the couch for the week instead. So, that was a slight bummer but did not detract from our incredible week on the island. We will return. Thank you

Had a great time! Loved the location and set up for our three couples, it is in the national forest which is wonderful but does come with the rustic accommodations that go with that, Luciah was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with, saint John truly is a beautiful place!

First off the property was beautiful and close to the nicest beaches on the island. House was beautiful, private and nicely laid out. Francis Bay was a short 5 minute walk. The house has so much potential, but like prior reviews needs some TLC. Full transparency We dealt with 4-5 power outages, none longer then 4 hours but still disruptive when trying to shower preparing to go out and just getting back from beach. Communication of the outages by WAPA was never really accurate. Adding a generator would be a nice touch knowing the island is prone to outages. Bugs, sure there were mosquitos and such, but the fact they were in the house was a bit of a downer. The doors and other imperfections to the main and secondary living areas had gaps around the seals in them that must allow the mosquitos to get in unless there is another way I could not see. This was troublesome for those trying to sleep while getting kamikazed by mosquitoes. We also had geckos in the house which i didn't mind as I am sure they controlled the bug count some, but the 3 girls were terrified, mainly seeing the gecko poop everywhere. Door locks need to be replaced. Always a struggle getting back into the house trying to get the locks to unlock. Pictures online must be very outdated as the bathrooms and such look 10-15 years older then the pictures. Wear and tear is evident, but the bones of the house are good.
