Comfortable, well-appointed cottage with private beach on southern New Hampshire's Highland Lake. Sleeps 5-6 in lake-view master bedroom with queen-size bed, lake-view single bedroom with additional futon, and downstairs bedroom with double bed. Canoe, kayak, bike, hike, or just take in the scenery and wildlife from the living room, bedrooms, or wraparound deck. Close to Pitcher Mountain, Granite Gorge, Mt. Monadnock, Peterborough, and other New England attractions. Barbeque, sit on the deck, listen for loons, and watch the ducks swim by. Canoe, kayaks, and bikes for your use; high-speed internet, DVDs, and gas fireplace for rainy days. Available year-round; house fully winterized and with well-equipped kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay at this stylish cottage.The communication with hosts and agent was excellent, they provide you a lot of information. It's really a home with a lot of space that owners welcome you to. A fully appointed house with a great high speed Wi-fi, a dishwasher, a washer, a dryer (hosts allow us to use it, it's in a different building), a grill, TV, big fans in every bedroom. Never have had problems with the hot water. The views of the lake are magnificent! My husband enjoyed kayaking and fishing, I was swimming all the time - water is crystal clear, calm and warm.

We really enjoyed our stay. We hardly left during our week, just enjoyed the lake & did lots of fishing.

Peaceful, quiet, relaxing! Fished, swam, kayaked, canoed, BBQed! Relaxed on the beautiful deck. Listened to the loons, watched the ducks. Full moon over the lake was awesome. We’ll definitely be back!Kathy C
