Spacious twin room studio in a great location

Spacious twin room studio with kitchen facilities. Combination of door code and lock box advised by the host made it easy to gain access to the studios. Great location with short walk to central station. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. All in all, great value.

Good accommodation and facilities, excellent location but lack of heating and hot water spoiled it

Location was exactly what we wanted. Large room. Good kitchen Clean with good towels tea coffee soap. Shower gel and shampoo - but no hot water

21 November and heating and hot water didn't work. Temporary room heating was inadequate so we were cold. When I wrote to the company afterwards they did not reply. No table in the room.

A little dated but a good size and perfect location for what we needed.

Good sized studio flat with small kitchen area and bathroom. Great position if you are looking to visit the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall as we did. Within walking distance to city centre shops and bars etc. Small dining table and chairs for eating. The room had one large double bed and one smaller double bed which were comfy enough. Slept well. Freeview TV available or you can use your subscriptions to watch netflix etc. Tea, coffee and milk sachets in the kitchen on arrival. No parking but there is 24 hour parking quite close by which cost £6 for 24hours.

Studio is set within a 200 year old building so the insulation between the rooms is understandably not great so you do get some movement noises but not enough to spoil the stay. The room is a little dated especially the curtains which were quite worn and took some effort to close and block out the lights due to ring hooks being broken. The radiators in the room appeared not to be turned on/working, so a portable radiator was provided but this really wasn't up to the job. Might get a bit nippy on a cold winters night. The only other issue we found was there is no mirror in the bathroom, although there is mirrored wardrobe in the main room. All in all these few issues would not put us off staying there again.

Needs attention.

Price. Location. Size of room.

I'm not sure where to start, really. I sent several messages that went unanswered. I was only allowed the code to enter property minutes before 3 pm. I had wanted to print codes off to take with me as network coverage problematic. I had to ring for codes. Felt we were treated as totally untrustworthy. Utterly ridiculous procedure. I had sent a photo ID in the shape of a travel pass but was told it would have to be a driving licence or passport. I really disliked having to send my passport info, but my husbands driving licence is a paper one with no photo. We also had to pay a £50 refundable deposit. I have just contacted them to see when I will get the deposit back and told it has been processed, but it can take 5 days! We arrived on apartment lovely position fabulous building. This accommodation could be fantastic. But I would strongly suggest that owners spend a couple of nights there and 'snag list' apartments. We had one mug, (had 2 delivered quickly in fairness) one sachet of hot chocolate. One wine glass. Toilet seat loose. No shelf or cupboard in bathroom. We had to remake bed as quilt not big enough. Only one pillow each. Tiny plug in radiator to heat big room. No cloth to wipe kitchen surfaces. No sponge for dishes. No welcome folder etc. Empty tissue box. Such a shame. I've never left a bad review for anywhere before but these problems need addressing. Room could do with a couple of comfy chairs or two seater settee. We went midweek so extremely good value excellent position but if I'd paid weekend prices I'd be unhappy. We stay in Lpool several times a year. Think we will stick with hotel next time.

Good budget option for Liverpool

Had an issue checking in with lockbox, however staff were very helpful and sorted out the issue within minutes. Convenient central location.

Location very good. Apartment clean and comfortable. Plenty of cupboard space.

Kitchen not well-equipped for self-catering - no teapot, no cafetiere, no knives except one blunt bread knife. Fridge door opened the wrong way (e.g. behind the door). Bathroom very basic - and cold!

It was for me a shame there was no way to open the window at all. This was particularly frustrating as we were at the end of one of those heat waves we’ve had in England. I believe that there are some rooms in Rodney Street where you can open the window and it would be good to know that. There was a fan there but it was still very hot. I would come back, but not in the summer!

The location was ideal for our needs. The bed was vert comfortable

The studio is dated. The shower cabinet was mouldy. The vinyl in the kitchen area was torn the kitchen sink tap was wobbly. No dish towel for drying dishes

Booking was changed to rope walk s hotel which was fantastic John and the team where brilliant hosts the room was great and the breakfast 10 out of ten would definitely recommend to anyone to stay there 😊

Place is lovely, but customer service isn't

The bed was comfortable, the room had a pretty well-equopped kitchen. The bathroom was large. It was relatively quiet.

I didn't like how unresponsive the staff was, they didn't answer at all through booking, fully ignored my question about leaving my luggage at the location. They were late to sending entry codes to me and another customer (we met outside of the location at the time of check-in, because tahy failed to send BOTH of us the codes ahead of time). I also wish I had been notified I'd be staying at the top floor, because I had 30 pounds of luggage with me. They also require a 50 pound deposit a day before your stay which is IMMEDIATELY charged and only refunded after it is done, and that processstill takes 2-5 business days after your stay ends. This dents your budget for the trip for no reason. It'd be better if they practicefheld charges like any other respectable place.

A great location & large rooms ideal for a family stay.

Excellent location a five minute walk from the city centre. Large bedroom & large bathroom and kitchen. Ideal for an overnight when you want to be able to prepare your own breakfast or a meal. Comfy bed.

Historical, well located, but a little budgety

Very well located, the Rodney street also has some history to it, and most of the attractions are within walking distance. A bus stop for the airport (we used 86A, not 500) right across the road was a good bonus. It was also quite spacious. The carpets were surprisingly clean through and through and were deep and very comfy. No indoor shoes needed. Lots of space on the bathroom shelves. Even upscale hotels fail to provide enough space for 2 toothbrushes, but not this one. Here we could put away everything on the shelves, shavers, toothpaste, shower gel, combs, body lotions, you name it, everything fits! We didn't use the stove or the oven, but the microwave and kettle were working fine.

No kitchen towel, only one toilet paper for a 4 nights stay (to be fair, we didn't reach out to have those fixed, maybe the owner would have fixed those) Worn out and very dirty looking shower floor Hard to get fresh air in. First thing you notice when you come in is the chlorine acid smell, which is very hard to get out, as the window won't stay open, unless you find something to hold it. Also, the apartment is quite dark Broken shower head, the hose had a little crack, so the pressure in the head wasn't great, and water was sprinkling from the hose all over.

Fantastic value for money - apartment with lounge as well as kitchen (with tea, coffee and milk), bathroom and bedroom. Great location to Philharmonic Hall - only minutes walk away - and close enough to walk into City Centre

Fab apartments in great location

The location is fantastic, the property was well equipped and comfortable. We had a small issue with a fuse blowing in our flat losing some power and we contacted the agents and were immediately moved to a bigger flat without any charge. The service was fab and we had a lovely stay

Obviously wasn’t ideal that we had to swap flats mid-stay but we couldn’t complain really as the second flat was even nicer!
