Experience South Carolina's southern charm in this great vacation home located in Wild Dunes, the premier resort community on the Isle of Palms. Enjoy the beach, the intra-coastal waterway, two championship golf courses, tennis and pickleball. Wild Dunes Resort is approximately 20 miles from historic Charleston and the Charleston International Airport.
Located on a quiet oceanside cul-de-sac in Wild Dunes, this home features a large well-equipped kitchen, with separate ice machine and two refrigerators! Four porches, all with breathtaking beach, ocean, and golf views! Dining room overlooks the Links Golf Course and the rooftop sun deck has great views of the ocean and golf course. The dining table seats 16, the island seats 8, another table seats 4 and a porch table seats 8 for a total of 36. This large home provides a great balance of open living areas and privacy with plenty of quiet spaces!! Eight flat panel TVs; Free WIFI serving only this home.

The layout was perfect. The location has excellent proximity to the beach. We have stayed at multiple VRBO‘s in the past. The kitchen is the most well equipped we’ve seen. With the family room on the entry level, the upper level, the porch on the upper level and the rooftop deck, there is ample space for people to find privacy if they wish. The bedrooms are all good size. There were 17 of us. The beach is beautiful. We had fun introducing grandkids to spotting sand crabs with flashlights on night time beach walks as well as some body surfing during the day. A well deserved four star property..

This was a great house for our multigenerational family - from age 5-70. Our communication with Lauren was very easy and prompt. There is a wonderfully stocked kitchen - with blenders, crockpots, and ample cooking supplies to accommodate 20 people. There is a double oven - which we weren't expecting, but were glad to have and a second refrigerator on the middle floor. The multiple living areas allowed those who wanted a quieter space to have it, while the larger group gathered. It was a very quick walk to the beach. 2 outdoor showers allowed us to wash off the sand before entering. The view from the top deck is wonderful, but you do have to be angled properly to see it. Other houses obstruct a view from some parts of the balcony, but there is a nice view from one half. It is clear in the description, but is worth re-iterating that the largest living area and kitchen are on the 3rd floor. The third floor has one bedroom and bathroom. So, if you have anyone with mobility issues, this should be considered, as you will need to use the stairs. Although there is an elevator, it was not working. The pools are about a mile from the property, but the shuttle came quickly to pick us up when needed. Upon check in, they did not have the proper number of parking passes needed or the correct amount of wristbands to give us entry to the pools/workout facilities, but this was easily corrected just by talking with the people at the check in station. Lovely home. Great time!

This was our sixth year at the house, and we enjoy it more each time we come. It is perfect for our large family of sixteen. There are plenty of bedrooms, and we could all sit around the large dining room table for meals. It is also close enough to the beach that you can run up if you need a break from the sand and salt water.

Property large, some beds not comfortable, note on fridge not to use elevator not disclosed before rental. Large complex being build 20 feet from rear of house. Construction noise Monday thru Saturday, construction workers wearing masks while sandblasting, couldn’t use decks while sanding. Woken by 7:30am to construction noise, Put a damper on family vacation.
