About this apartment rental

Visit our remodeled get-away. The unit has been remodeled from top to bottom, from ceiling to floor. The condo features a california king bed, night stands with reading lights, dresser, ceiling fan, 36' flat screen tv with blue ray dvd player. The new bathroom has been divided between the sink area and the toilet/shower room. The sink is set in the granite countertop. The new travertine shower feels like a spa.
The kitchen features granite counter tops with a stainless steel stove. New cabinets with granite counter tops leave ample counter space for food preparation. Clean-up is a cinch with the stainless steel stink, pull out faucet, and stainless steel dishwasher. The kitchen features a coffee maker, toaster, blender, glasses, dishes and all the utensils you need to prepare your meals. Eat at the fold out dining table or eat on the balcony overlooking the pool. When you are done eating, relax in the comfortable chairs and catch the game or news on the flat screen tv.
The toy closet has beach chairs, a rolling cooler, and boogie boards. The iron and ironing board also hang out here. Grab a cold drink and move to the lanai, or across the street to the beach. This is a 2nd floor unit.

The Studio was awesome. My husband was worried at first when I said it was going to be a studio, but we were very impressed. Nice pool, walk to the ocean. I was hoping the beach would have been more sandy, but people watching was awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen remodel is terrific, the room is spacious and well-appointed, and the air conditioning is wonderful. We loved having the extra fan. Prince Kuhio is in a convenient location that allowed us to easily access Waimea Canyon, Old Koloa Town, the Beach House restaurant, and our boat tour. It is an older well-maintained property but do not expect a new flashy resort vibe. It is a solid property that is a good value in a good location.

This property was perfectly situated whether you were sitting on the deck, going to the Beach House Restaurant, enjoying time on the beach, or driving short distances to shopping, beaches, coastal hikes, and points west! The kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was welcomed! It was all that we needed!

Enjoyed the location-we walked a block, rented snorkel gear, and 10 steps later were seeing colorful fish! Also, walked 10-ish minutes to shops and restaurants each night. Appreciated having boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella when we went to Poi’pu beach, and having a full kitchen, comfortable bed and peaceful gardens out the window when we returned. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Spacious studio well equipped for the beach and cooking. Before arriving, I thought it would be too small, but no, the space was ample, much better than a hotel room. There's even a small patio with a little table for eating outside on the pool side. The bath and beach towels were of high quality. I have no hesitation in recommending it for 2 people.

The condo had everything we needed: fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen and bath, comfy bed, balcony with gorgeous view, and beach amenities. The location was ideal: close to the beaches, Waimea canyon, shopping and restaurants.

We were pleased with the accommodations. The condo is very close to the beach, essentially across the street and to the side of a building. The room was furnished as described. For a couple, there was plenty of space. The unit is on the second floor (no elevator, but no problem for us). The lanai overlooks some nicely maintained plants and flowers and the pool. For our stay, the pool was not used by many guests, so it was very peaceful. There is parking but it is not reserved. Some spots are smaller than others, so it can be a tight squeeze if you're arriving later in the day - but there was always a spot available. Arrival and departure instructions were easy to follow. There is a coin-op washer and dryer facility in the building - hours are from 8AM to 8PM - I suggest arriving at 8AM or after Noon for best availability. There was one request that we made during our stay and it was taken care of very timely and to our complete satisfaction.

Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and straightforward. The place was clean and comfortable and, most importantly, has air conditioning! The instruction booklet provided by the host was very helpful. Parking was always available. The location is very convenient and we were able to walk to the nearby shopping center, a fruit stand, and of course the beach.

I have stayed in this complex before, so knew it was in a great location with beautiful grounds. This was the first time I’ve stayed in a “studio”. It’s amazing all that the owner was able to fit in such a small space! All was well thought out, and in great condition, and there is a pleasant view out the sliders that lead to a very narrow balcony. I was on a solo visit, and the space was good for me. Fine for a couple who packs light as well. It would not work well if my husband were along with golf clubs, tennis racquets, snorkel gear, etc. I would definitely consider staying again, and recommend to those looking for good value in a nice location.

Enjoyed the "homey" comfort of the unit. Appreciated all the amenities esp the complete kitchen! Have to say tho that the bed pillows probably need to be replaced soon. Also in describing the unit online, it would be helpful if it would've mentioned that it was an upper level unit, particularly for us seniors with some mobility issues.

This location of this condo was great for exploring the Waimea Canyon, Koke'e State Park, and some really nice beaches. The kitchen was well-stocked and the closet had beach gear & towels available. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance. We had a wi-fi problem on our first day but the owner quickly worked to resolve the issue and we were up and running the next day.

Bob's place is FANTASTIC! It was very clean and exactly as described with everything (and more) that we both needed and wanted for our 5 day stay. The air conditioner worked well and quickly cooled off the room. There was plenty of room for storing our clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc. The kitchen was great... lots of room for prep and all appliances were nice and worked well. We also loved the shower... plenty of room and nice towels (including beach towels). Best of all, the location was perfect for accessing sites and beaches all around Kawaii. The condo complex is well-maintained with gorgeous trees and flowers, a beautiful pool, and easy access to garage parking. Our stay was simply wonderful and we will definitely attempt to rent Bob's place the next time we visit Kauai. We highly recommend this vacation home. You won't be sorry!

This condo was everything and more. Anything we could dream of needing was there: full kitchen with appliances, small appliances, bowls and even storage containers with lids and baking sheets. And of course the amazing body boards, beach chairs and umbrella, and even a beach bag and coolers to make the beach days effortlessly fun. I would definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again on a future trip to Kauai. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The studio fit our need of a place to stay while we explored the island. Parking was tight in the garage for our rental jeep. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes - way more than 2 people needed.

Condo was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The gardens were beautiful. There was some signs of wear and tear. Some chips in floor tile and wall paint, but, nothing off-putting. The only real negative was the spotty wifi. A hot tub would have been nice to have but, again, not a big deal. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really liked what we called "Home" for 3 weeks. It was very spacious , nice layout. Only downside was the beach across the road was not very big, but we found other beaches we enjoyed. For warning between 6:00-6:30 pm some kind of bird come home for the night , they are very noisy , we kind of got use to them , then 6:30-7:00am they would leave. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our large efficiency condo. It was secluded on the second floor overlooking lush landscape and pool just as described. Very well stocked kitchen and beach towels and chairs and coolers etc. Only suggestion is to have cleaners dust mop under bed and headboard, and move the two chairs with ottomans and clean better. Just a little more cleaner effort would make it 5 star. Beach access right across the street. We really enjoyed our stay. Condo property laundry a bit expensive but nice clean facility. As great as described in the accurate listing. Excellent location, can walk to Baby Beach for great snorkeling in about 5 minutes. Gorgeous landscaping and amazing, usually empty pool. This particular room overlooks the pool and is right by the stairs so you can keep an eye on it and jump in whenever you want. Backs up to the Lawai Beach Resort which was FULL of loud and obnoxious douchebags (our friends were staying over there so we got to experience that, too) BUT you cannot hear any of that from the serenity of the Prince Kuhio. Very quiet, calm, respectful families and couples at the Kuhio! Just a wonderful retreat. Easy parking to boot. Book this room - you won't regret it!

It is a very well stocked and located place. Near all the fun spots in Poipu. Bed and mattress could be more comfortable and the space looks smaller than it is due to all the big furniture but outside of that very good stay. Do park on the parking lot as per instructions. Much closer to the unit that is all the way on the back of the complex. Just a tip for other coming to the island. If you have a Costco card bring it. The cheapest place for Food and gas in the island
