Pool is top notch. Person who takes care of clarity & ph is great. I’m a 30 year public health officer. Stayed VRBO in Smokies by Dollyland and couldn’t even see your feet. Great location by Beach House and Popoi Beach. Saw tearing down Coconut Palms Hotel in Kapa’a where Blue Hawaii filmed with Elvis 1961.

This is a fantastic location and beautiful property! It's across the street from excellent snorkling and perfect spot to watch the sunset. The parking garage was super convenient and the condo itself was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! The pictures don’t show how light and bright it is inside. It was a great location (very centralized to everything), right across from a beach & less than 5 minutes from poipu beach. Parking was never an issue, and the complex was really cute with a pool, bbq and even a little library with books and games to borrow. The condo had almost everything we needed with chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, towels, golf clubs, etc. the only thing I would suggest is having some basics, such as cream, sugar, cooking oil or spray, spices etc. it’s a bummer to have to buy that stuff and not use it all. Other than that the condo was great and we plan on staying here again for our next trip!

The wife and I had a pleasant stay in this studio. Don't expect a ritzy condo but it is more than sufficient for a couple travelers looking for a place to stay on a budget. We will certainly look at staying at Prince Kuhio again on our next trip to paradise.

Great Location

We absolutely loved the snorkeling across the road. We had a slight issue with the breaker tripping and refrigerator going out. We couldn’t find the breaker box (which later discovered is hidden behind a picture in the bathroom). The facility maintenance manger Matt was responsive and took care of it when we were on an excursion. Be advised there is NO stove here. We discovered this after buying a couple frozen items. The microwave had a convection component that ended up working, but took a bit longer. The facilities here were really nice, and we wished we had used the grills. Parking in the garage was nice and close to the room and the water pressure in the shower great. They also had great facilities for us to do laundry (don’t over pack! :-) ). Check in and trying to figure out where to park and the parking passes was a bit chaotic at first (we didn’t have instructions), but some other residents pointed us in the right direction and it was easy. If you're ok not having a ocean view, this was a good place to say.

We really liked this condo. It was decorated so nice and had everything needed for cooking. The extras were wonderful, snorkeling equipment, chairs, umbrellas and golf clubs. We really appreciated having those items. The location was perfect and so mice having the garden view. Our only complaint was that we are used to a king bed so we found the bed way too small and soft for our liking. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again!

Upon reviewing our arrangements we realized we had been mistaken about the 1st floor assumption. Rm 232 clearly means 2nd floor. Our mistake. The room was attractive and well stocked. It was well placed for the activities we wanted to enjoy. Our appreciation for your patience, especially as we lost one of the keys. We slept well and was easily able to adapt the room to our needs. An oven would have been nice for our frozen pizza we had purchased. One cant have everything.

This property was exactly as described. It was clean and nicely decorated. Communication was great and location was perfect. It was only a walk across the street to get to the ocean. The parking lot was small and the manager for the condominiums was not present when we arrived to give us instructions about getting a card or our windshield and telling us exactly where the parking garage was, but once we straightened that out, parking in the garage was perfect.

Well appointed studio, condo. We found everything thing that we needed, and more. Closet full of snorkel stuff, boogie board,I’ve chest, and more. We left a great umbrella when we departed. Beautiful view of the grounds. We found it to be very quiet. The pool is nice. Not very crowded with people. The BBQ was great! Used it quite a bit. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the short walk to a fabulous snorkeling beach. Wonderful array of different tropical fish! We snorkeled first thing in the morning, came home to eat breakfast, then we’d head out to other beaches etc. Close to restaurants, grocery store, and shops. I’d definitely stay there again!

The room was great. Staying 11 days I would have liked a bathroom cleaner and a 2nd bar of soap. Sheets and pillows were very nice. Water filter pitcher really made it nice not to buy bottled water. Pool was great though they shut down the pool for a day. A resident got nasty with us because we didn’t have our key for the pool and my husband had to beg him not to lock us in when we were packing up to leave. Bbq area is very nice. Air conditioning was a must and kept us cool at night. Walking distance to great sunsets.

Prince Kuhio is perfectly located across from the Beach House Restaurant. Great sunset watching and snorkeling beach. This was our second time to stay here and we booked again for Christmas 2019 The building is older but well kept and very comfortable units.

Unit was in a great location, clean, and comfortable. Everything was in the unit that we needed. Only thing is neighbors can be a little noisy (talking) next door or above or below but you can solve this by turning on the tv or air conditioning. Parking lot is always full at night so park in the garage next door first floor and get a pass to put on your console from the common room. Parking is better in the garage anyway. Wifi info is on the refrigerator. Would recommend this rental. Sunny Maui Vacations is fantastic. Always there for you and very responsive and helpful.

Cute little studio space that came fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a great island getaway! Games and DVD library were perfect for winding down at the end of the day. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast daily. This unit included some items great for a beach visit (umbrella, cooler and lounge mats) and my daughter enjoyed the pool floats! Conveniently located across the street from the beach. The unit was decorated very tastefully and added to the vibe of our tropical destination! We loved our stay in the quaint apartment and would highly recommend for someone looking for a great value!

My small family stayed here for four nights in July. I initially picked this location because of its affordable price and central location in Poipu, which were pretty spot on. The room it self is spacious and has an air conditioner which was nice, as well as a balcony. There is excellent internet and cable TV. Those are good things, but when I travel to an unfamiliar place I need a safe place to stay and excellent communication from the manager(s). Heres where things went down hill, I emailed a month in advance just to check if there was a pac n' play, no response, I had to call to get an answer, not a huge deal. Prior to our stay I never receive any emails about location, where to park, or how to get in to the apartment, I had to take the initiative, I don't know if this was a VRBO thing or a manager thing. Once we got there, this started off really well, the first two nights were quiet. Then things took a dramatic turn for the worse. Our neighbors went nuts, now I realize they have no control over who stays next to us, they were up all night screaming and breaking out windows, cops were called, etc. There is no security on site nor is there anyway to get a hold of anyone. The next day I call our property manager, which really isn't the current property manager. She has passed the duties on to Ben, she was very cordial when I called early in the morning to see what could be done about staying there, because we weren't going to stay there again if those nuts next to us were still there. The previous manager game me the new managers number. I text and called and got no response. So, i took it upon myself, i looked up the unit next door on VRBO, emailed the owner of that unit and let them know what happened. They got back to me very quickly and let me know that the situation was being handled and those people were kicked out. It was just really frustrating that I had to contact the owner of the other unit and that our property manager couldn't even respond to me. I realize this isn't an everyday occurrence, but when something does happen like this I would want a manager that would bend backwards and jump over tall buildings to make sure that our needs were being met. I even called VRBO and they couldn't do anything, I asked them to contact the owner of the room next door, but they wouldn't and said what happened was "heresay." Super frustrating experience, I prefer dealing directly with owners of the property and will not be using VRBO again.

Really nice to not be in a hotel. Easy parking in garage. Clean, nice kitchen if you want to cook. I loved the flowers and the warm but cool breezes at night. Equally loved watching and hearing Thousands Of parrots fly in and out evening and morning. I did my top 3 things from list: up close de turtles, monk seals, and snorkeling. You MUST drive up to Kaliui Lighthouse and see the Albatross and Red footed Booby nesting. Good price, everything you need😄� Gracias
