A FAMILY RETREAT! Imagine a lovely evening around the firepit, with the BBQ sizzling and people relaxing in the Jacuzzi with a glass of something wonderful, the stars twinkling overhead and the smell of pine trees.
This unique home is made for good food, good friends, and happy families getting together with multiple levels which allows for private areas. Opening the sliders off the dining room includes the deck area as part of a wonderful atmosphere for socializing.
The loft above the living room has ceiling to wall windows facing west and south for great views of the ocean and pretty neighborhood.
You can walk or bike to Russian Gulch State Park, go to the day use area and follow trails around the headlands or BBQ at the picnic area with a gorgeous view of blue/green ocean. Point Cabrillo Lighthouse is 1 mile down Point Cabrillo Dr. from the house and a little further down the road is Caspar Beach. You are 2 minutes north of Mendocino Village and just on the other side of the village is Big River State Beach; a large, white sand beach with lots of room to stay all day and fire rings for a cook out at night with the ocean crashing nearby.

a superb home for a getaway of nine of us. Immaculate home, super beds and linens, great water pressure, nice deck and TV and hot tub (we didn't use them but they were clean, functional, and inviting). Lots of parking, great instructions for prep and departure, and fast internet. Immaculate grounds and close to everything, with safe parking for bikes. Have a great time like we did. PS Kitchen outfitted the best of any of the 15 places we have rented on the coast over the past 20 years.

We enjoyed our three nights at this clean, well-stocked and comfy house in a quiet neighborhood just north of Mendocino and close to a few beaches and a lovely state park. The fireplace, hot tub, and BBQ were highlights.

The house was perfect for us, the beds were comfortable, and towels were soft and thick. We appreciated that the property manager arranged to have a pack-and-play for us. BUT, there were cobwebs (and spiders) everywhere when we arrived, and the 2nd day there was a termite infestation that ruined our enjoyment of our stay.

The property has a lot of space. We were a party of 7 but it could easily accommodate more, 8 in separate rooms but another 4 on sofa beds in shared space. The location is good. Easy to walk in to Russian gulch national park and a short drive to Mendocino or the mendocino woods. Some of the fixtures and fittings are starting to look a bit old. The dishwasher is past its best, the faucet in the kitchen stuck whilst we were there and some of the bed linen could do with renewing but we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

The house is spacious with bedrooms on three levels, so there was plenty of room for our family of nine to spread out. There’s a hot tub in the backyard. The house is centrally. Located to lots of great beaches, the Skunk train, and other activities in the area

House is ok, old as is most homes in Mendocino. It is not as close to the beach as advertised, you have to drive. Property owner demands to know your home address which I have never seen with other properties. The cleaning fee is above average for a typical rental property but yet they require you to clean when you leave, empty all the trash and do the laundry. If I pay that much for cleaning I expect them to clean the property! Then they also charge a large fee for something they don't describe? Not worth the cost. I've stayed at better places for less in Mendocino.

Pat at Robinson properties is so kind and wonderful to work with. All my questions were met with quick responses. The location of the property is amazing. Just beautiful and close by are 2 amazing beaches and a lighthouse. We used the house for a bachelorette party and it if all our needs perfectly. One night we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit (wood provided). The next day we hit the beach. And our last day was rainy but no problem we all hung out by the fire and enjoyed some games before heading out. We would happily rent this spot again.

The loft is great, but know that the noise carries a lot if people are still awake downstairs. Great location if staying in Fort Bragg or Mendocino. Great house for groups.

This is a perfect house for a group of friends to spend time together. Easy to find, very quiet, beautiful landscaping, large windows to enjoy the view, large deck and hot tub. The house has four levels. The kitchen, dining room, and living room on one level for everyone to gather. Bedrooms and bathrooms on multiple levels which allows for privacy and a quiet space. Perfect for a large group wanting to enjoy time together. Wished it had a more updated stove. We all cook, so the temps were a little off in the oven and burners, but do not let this stop you from renting the house. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The house is fantastic and well equipped. It felt like there was a lot of care put into the details and comfort of the place. The beds and furniture were comfortable and had nice pillows/bedding. soft towels. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our kids had a ball with the different levels and “hiding spots” under the stairs. I don’t think it was listed that the back yard is fully fenced, which was a welcome surprise as it gave us more peace of mind giving the kids and dogs a safe/contained place to play. This was the worlds best spot for an Easter egg hunt!! The host was very communicative, friendly, and responsive/easy to get in touch with.
