About this house rental
You won't want to leave here after spending a few days looking out at the river and acres of scenic land across the canal. Very relaxing with the feeling of a great lodge as you listen to the sound of the waterfall! Enjoy your morning coffee in one of 3 beautiful outdoor sitting areas or in the hot tub. Pre's Trail is right across the waterway or if you're wanting a bike ride there are 5 bikes available to enjoy miles of bike trails right outside your door.
Sunsets are amazing around the outdoor gas fire pit as you watch the wildlife. You will feel like you're in a private resort yet you are moments from downtown.
There is also a man cave with a pool table and 80 inch TV. Truly a gem of a property!

Great experience! We enjoyed every moment. My friends said this was the best place you have booked for an away game experience. Hosts were great as they got us an early check in time and communicated well.

This beautiful home served perfectly for my small family reunion. The spacious rooms with abundant comfortable seating areas allowed for many wonderful conversations. We enjoyed the view across the dreamy waterway to the open fields beyond. We had a lovely walk along the nearby trails, where we encountered a friendly heron. The host was very friendly and open for questions. Our family will treasure the memories that we made there.

Beautiful Location, But Disappointing Experience. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations, especially compared to other VRBO homes we've stayed in.The house itself was very cluttered, with many areas of the kitchen not properly cleaned. It was clear the property is owner-occupied: closets and drawers were full, personal belongings were everywhere, and there were cars in both the garage and driveway. This made the home feel less like a vacation rental and more like we were staying in someone else's personal space.When we arrived, the house felt muggy and stuffy. The outdoor deck area was dirty and full of spider webs.The listing also failed to mention that the king-sized bed is located on the lower level. Unfortunately, that room was inaccessible to me due to a knee injury, which significantly impacted our comfort. The game room is connected to the garage and could not be aired out properly, making it unusable.After returning home, we shared our concerns with the owner. They responded with photos showing that some areas (like the kitchen and cluttered drawers) had since been cleaned. However, we never received an apology for the condition of the house or the misleading listing.There were other issues we chose not to mention in this review.This property may be better suited for a home exchange platform rather than being listed at full price on VRBO.
