You won't want to leave here after spending a few days looking out at the river and acres of scenic land across the canal. Very relaxing with the feeling of a great lodge as you listen to the sound of the waterfall! Enjoy your morning coffee in one of 3 beautiful outdoor sitting areas or in the hot tub. Pre's Trail is right across the waterway or if you're wanting a bike ride there are 5 bikes available to enjoy miles of bike trails right outside your door.
Sunsets are amazing around the outdoor gas fire pit as you watch the wildlife. You will feel like you're in a private resort yet you are moments from downtown.
There is also a man cave with a pool table and 80 inch TV. Truly a gem of a property!

This property has everything you can ever ask for! Right on the river with paddle boards and a little boat. More than enough room for family game nights! This place was perfect for my sons last baseball trip… it left us with more then just baseball memories!

We were 2 families (8 people) in Eugene for UO graduation and this house suited us perfectly. We had plenty of space to spread out and the yard and riverside setting were amazing. In addition we were able to walk to the graduation ceremony at Autzen as it was less than a mile.

Overall the property was okay. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The house and outdoor area was extremely cluttered. The house was muggy upon arrival and most of the windows were missing screens, making it uncomfortable for me to leave windows open overnight. Deck area was incredibly dirty. Light fixtures/chandelier partially covered with cobwebs. Probably wouldn’t rent this house again next year.

This house really offers a home away from home to spend time with daughter, her friends and family. Watched Spring footballl and after a short walk back, were able to watch Oregon baseball on big TV in family room. A great place to relax, talk walks along the river. The house offers so much, is easy access to campus and shops snd the hosts really made it so simple to enjoy our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We rented the house so we could have a place to gather for a Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day family get-together. The house was decorated beautifully. The Christmas spirit was alive. The house was well stocked, and had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. Overall, the trip was successful, and we were happy with our accommodations.

The house is perfect for a large group. We were 4 couples in town for a duck game, and the house is in an ideal location to walk to autzen. Hot tub stand up paddle boards and the big screen TVs. Kept us busy. We will definitely rent this place again.

Went to Oregon County faire one day, Spent all Saturday visiting antique stores. Enjoyed the property outside. Great seating all around the property. The home had everything thing you needed and more. Beautiful place.

This quirky house has everything you could need and a wonderful outside space. Our family came in for an event at Hayward Field and the house was just the space we needed. There is plenty of space to host (we had our track team over to grill one night) and all the amenities you could ask for and then some. The bedrooms upstairs easily fit two people per bed and the living room is where we set our kids up. There was not a true bunk space, but that extra living area allowed us to set up air mattresses, or have the kids crash on the couch and have have their own space. The only thing that is lacking is storage space. The cabinets in the kitchen are full, so if you bring extra things that would use pantry space, there isn't really any....be prepared to just put it on the counters. The downstairs master also has limited drawer space or a place to hang your things. If you like to unpack your things like I do, then the master doesn't have a ton of space for that. Some of the bedrooms upstairs have the space, but not all the rooms. The outside space is AMAZING. Tons of seating, grills, a Trager, and more. We loved just sitting on the dock or the upper deck having our morning coffee or late night cocktails. We met the owner and he was wonderful. He gave us little hints on how to turn on the water features and info on the boats. Overall it was a great fit for us and we will definitely want to book it in the future.

The photos don’t even do it justice. The kitchen is the most well-appointed kitchen I’ve ever been in. There’s a cocktail ice maker! Every room is full of fun little treasures. Very comfortable beds and amazing master suite. Hot tub was perfect.

We had an amazing time staying at this property for the track and field world championships in July. The backyard was so peaceful and relaxing for morning coffee, watching ducks and geese along the river, to late night cocktails on the deck. We walked to Hayward Field each day which was an easy 1.8 mile walk along the running/biking paths. Kitchen was stocked with any and all equipment we could need. Neighborhood was quiet. Property owner checked on us via text and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone doing a visit to Eugene!

When we were planning our family reunion, we hoped for a house that was not only big enough for all of us but was a destination itself! Well this house delivered that and more! The pictures really don’t do it justice! Everywhere you turned, there was another cool deck to hang out on , another awesome view of the canal, another great place to sit and visit! The canals/river were calm enough to feel totally comfortable having the kids go out on the paddle boards and the little pontoon boat was a HUGE hit. The kids ranged from 10 to 18 and were pretty much PHONE FREE (!!!) the whole week because they were outside adventuring on the river! Miracle, amirite?!? There were enough bedrooms for everyone ( comfie beds all around) and the kitchen was a cooks dream! Mike ( the owner) was kind and responsive and we just couldn’t be happier with our stay! 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Property owners were wonderful and there were so many cozy spots in the house and wonderful extra amenities like espresso and two laundry rooms. Tons of outdoor space and my kids and husband had the best time on the boat and padded boards! Just a minute from the Oregon ducks stadium we enjoyed a baseball game while in town. Again I can not say enough how truly wonderful the owners were in making sure we got the most out of everything the property offers and the city of Eugene!

The house was spectacular. Beautiful open concept, great outdoor spaces, enchanting fountains everywhere, well appointed kitchen. The boats and paddleboards created activities and exercise enjoyed by all. We recommend breakfast on the boat! Many VRBO rentals greet you with a list of all the "don'ts and warnings" but this place was warm and welcoming, encouraging us to relax and enjoy a dream location and vacation. Worth every penny! Plan to eat in as there is no better view from any restaurant in Eugene.

The weather kept us inside, but it wasn't a problem with this house. It is beautiful, with soft carpets and blankets to spare, as well as plenty of tvs and coffee makers. It was too much house to really appreciate in our 3-day stay-- we all wanted to stay longer. The beds were wonderfully soft. The kids played piano and pool and games. The kitchen was well appointed and many of us cooked a Thanksgiving dinner together quite comfortably.

Loved all the entertainment areas around the house. Only wish we had more time to enjoy relax and enjoy the house. Owners were very attentive and welcoming. We came to visit friends/family and stayed at this wonderful property with one other couple. The house has all of the amenities you need and then some. The back yard is beautiful with so many lounging options. We used the brand new paddle boards as well as the little electric boat; so much fun to cruise up and down the canal. We were able to check in early, and home was very clean. Will definitely return.

Our stay was great! The owner was prompt in responding to us when we had any questions or issues and was very attentive. I did not stay for a football game, but it would be great for a group that is staying for the game as it is a very short walk to the stadium. I was staying for a conference at the law school and that was still walkable.

Disappointing Stay

When we arrived at 1pm, front porch was covered in leaves, front door had many advertisements hanging on it, as if nobody had been there for a while. The alarm went off when we opened the front door, with no instructions on how to disarm it. The house was 62 degrees, and after 4 phone calls and three texts, someone's son was sent over at 6:30pm to clean the filter to get it to work. The house was finally warm when we woke up the next morning. In the meantime, the owners told us to use the fireplace, but the batteries were dead, so we had to find batteries. There were two ceiling fans blowing cold down on us, and we had to call to find out how to turn them off. The remotes for them were in a drawer with personal items. We wrapped ourselves in blankets all afternoon and evening. We had rented the house to have a team meeting, so this was no great. The two lights in one bathroom were burned out, and the other bathroom was missing a light bulb. The ice in the freezer was old and completely stuck together, so we had no ice all week. They gave us two dishwasher tablets for the four days we were there. Aside from a notebook telling us the internet code, and when to leave the garbage at the curb, there were no instructions on where things were. With the initial appearance of the house, and the state of the inside, we think they forgot we were coming. Very disappointed to have my company meeting there, and spending all afternoon troubleshooting problems on the first day.

This is truly a home away from home but on a much grander scale. The location, the furnishings and finishing touches, and the sublime beauty and serenity we're all we'd hoped for. The fact that Mike and Montra kept their regular rate for us during our eclipse adventure when so many others were busy raising their rates through the roof meant we were able to afford the wonderful family reunion and once in a lifetime shared experience we had hoped for. We'll be back!
