The Space:

Princesa de la Luna EcoLodge is a unique rainforest property designed for travelers who want to experience Costa Rica beyond traditional hotels.



This is a rustic ecolodge immersed in tropical nature, with open-air spaces, handcrafted details, jungle trails, and incredible views of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding valley. The property was built over many years as a passion project focused on sustainability, permaculture, and connection with nature.

Please note this is NOT a luxury resort. The lodge is rustic, natural, and intentionally connected to the environment. Guests who appreciate nature, adventure, wildlife, and unique experiences tend to enjoy the property the most. This is an authentic Costa Rican jungle experience. We have a total of 13 rooms of which only 3 have A/C. We have an open kitchen / dining area, hiking trails on the property. The pool is about a 5 minute walk downhill from the main area. Once booked, this Ecolodge will be exclusively for your group.

The ecolodge can accommodate groups of up to 48 guests across a variety of rustic studio-style rooms and shared spaces.



Room configurations include:

- Private studio rooms with queen, king, full, and twin bed combinations

- Private bathrooms in all guest rooms

- Some rooms include living areas and kitchenettes

- Casa Piña villa includes 3 connected rooms with shared living areas and kitchen

- Room #1: Sleeps 6 → 1 queen, 1 full, 2 twin beds

- Room #2: Sleeps 3 → 1 queen, 1 twin bed

- Room #3: Sleeps 5 → 1 king, 3 twin beds

- Room #4: Sleeps 5 → 1 full, 3 twin beds

- Room #5: Sleeps 5 → 1 king, 3 twin beds

- Room #6: Sleeps 2 → 1 queen bed

- Room #7: Sleeps 3 → 1 queen, 1 twin bed

- Room #8: Sleeps 5 → 2 full beds, 1 twin bed

- Room #9: Sleeps 3 → 1 full, 1 twin bed

- Room #10: Sleeps 4 → 1 full, 2 twin beds



In the Pineapple House:

- Room #11: Sleeps 3 → 1 king bed, 1 twin bed

- Room #12: Sleeps 2 → 2 twin beds

- Room #13: Sleeps 2 → 2 twin beds



Note: Rooms #1-10 all have their private bathroom, but share a kitchen. Rooms #11-13 share another living room and kitchen.

Other Things to Note:

- This is a rustic ecolodge experience, not a luxury hotel.

- You are staying in the middle of tropical nature, so insects, wildlife, humidity, jungle sounds, and changing weather conditions are part of the experience.

- Some outdoor areas and natural pools may occasionally be affected by heavy rain or ongoing maintenance.

- WiFi is available, but connection quality may vary due to the remote jungle setting.

- Wildlife sightings are common, including toucans, tropical birds, lizards, frogs, and other native species.
