About this cottage rental
While Camellia Cottage 🏡 has welcomed all guests, it has a particular appeal for couples who come here to celebrate life events, like anniversaries, birthdays, and even an engagement. There have been some great sister as well as girlfriend vacations created here too. It has become a respite for people needing to recharge while disconnecting from a demanding world.
The cottage is well suited for 2 adults and a 3rd adult is permitted but requires a 3 day stay. I cannot accept children due to the spiral staircase.
The cottage was created to be intimate, tastefully decorated yet comfortable, not fussy, with a new sleeper sofa with a gel foam mattress, and over sized denim chair. Upstairs in the sleeping loft is a king size bed with a deep memory foam mattress, that guests love. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full size refrigerator, cookware, gas stove and microwave. There's wifi, a large movie library and a smart tv. You will have internet access and a smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and hundreds of others through streaming.
Many of my guests like to travel with their dog (me too!) and I want to make sure the dogs have a good stay providing them with bowls, towels, a blanket, toys and a fenced in yard.
I would like to know if you are planning on bringing your pet in your inquiry, as well as the size and number. The pet fees, usually $50 depending on the size and number are donated to a local shelter or Gulf Coast rescue groups. 🐶
Guests often comment, 'This is even nicer than the pictures” and love the unexpected like a seasonal herb garden, easy onsite parking, and especially the privacy. The tin roofed cottage is nestled in to a private place, with live oaks, camellias, and magnolias. While, Camellia Cottage is very close to downtown and a mile to the beach it is much quieter and without the traffic. I keep a list of local restaurants as well as activities, and I’m always available for suggestions. If you like casinos and entertainment it’s just across the bridge in Biloxi and Gulfport.This is the place to stay to give yourself permission to be as active or lazy as you wish. 😁
The cottage is located on a lovely street in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is not used for a party house or large events.
The minimum age for renting is 25.
One more thing about the cottage to know is, it is a strictly non smoking rental anywhere on the grounds. Also, no candles please.
Ocean Springs is a multi award winning small city known for its friendliness, art, unique restaurants, shopping and music.

Jeannie was the most amazing host! She thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The bed is soo soft too and the location is quiet. We didn’t hear the train that ocean springs is known for. She also decorated the cottage for Halloween which was a cute little twist. There was coffee, welcome candy, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, box fan. You name it, she had it! We had an amazing quiet stay at the cottage for cruising the coast! Would definitely stay again! We also got to see a little bunny rabbit in the yard just another nice surprise at camellia cottage.

We had a great time in ocean springs. The cottage was so peaceful and very comfy. Would most definitely stay there again.

Jeannie was fantastic and the place is great for what we wanted. It's quiet and away from the beach and downtown Ocean Springs but a 3 minute drive anywhere. We'll be back soon!
