About this house rental
Eagle’s Cove is a beautiful 5000 sq. ft. lakefront home on Norris Lake near the Flat Hollow Marina landmark in the Overlook Bay Community. This lake house is the perfect place for your large family vacation. Our family has vacationed many summers in numerous Norris Lake properties, and we utilized our experience to build an extraordinary home for your friends and family to enjoy and create lasting memories. Timber Ridge sits on a 1.6 acre gently sloped wooded lot which makes walking from the street all the way to the water a pleasant stroll with NO STAIRS!! The house has a concrete walkway from the driveway to the rear exit of the house that also leads to the flat fire pit area and finally down to the dock--a feature that very few Norris Lake properties have!
Our goal is to make your stay as worry free as possible and we do that by including many of the basic daily needs (dishwasher detergent, dish soap, paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, foil, parchment paper, trash bags, 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom, hand soap, laundry soap, spices and baking soda and powder) as well as a few amenities we have yet to see in any other Norris lake property: FREE COMMERCIAL SODA MACHINE and ICE MAKER in a gourmet kitchen with seating for 30+ people! If you don’t have your own kayaks and paddle board or a way to bring them with you--DON’T FRET because we are providing your group with the use of our 2 kayaks and a paddle board for free during your entire stay.
Beautifully designed and a meticulously crafted luxury, this home offers an open floor plan with three levels, 9 bedrooms (7 KING BEDS, 2 "KIDS" ROOMS WITH FULL BUNK BEDS & QUEEN BED) and 11 bathrooms. Each bedroom has its OWN ENSUITE FULL BATHROOM (king rooms have full shower with glass doors, kids’ rooms have full tub with shower curtain), a closet with hangers, chest of drawers, and a reading/night light with 2 USB ports for charging. This house features 3 full length decks (crafted from composite decking that stays cool in the hot sun- No burnt feet and No splinters!) with plenty of seating so you can enjoy an outside evening meal or just sit back and read a book or soak in the hot tub. Both the bottom deck and 2nd floor deck have sealed roofs--so you stay dry even when it’s storming!
Outside the home you will find a fire pit and corn hole area for gatherings on cool evenings, a private Double Decker aluminum dock with a covered slip, 4 chase lounges and armchairs to relax in, and a slide that will entertain the kids for hours on end. Enjoy the privacy of this large, wooded lot with a gently sloped private drive with ample parking for 8+ vehicles. We also have a golf cart available to rent for any family with seniors with limited walking ability--be sure to inquire about pricing!
To complete the package, we were sure to include Free HIGH SPEED star link internet, long distance, and cable television as well.
Main Floor
The main floor boasts vaulted ceilings with expansive windows for amazing views of the lake and mountains. A huge kitchen with a large walk-in pantry and duplicate appliances makes cooking for a crowd more manageable. There is plenty of space for everyone to gather and have meals together on the main level in the dining room that seats 30.
Also, the main level has 2-bedroom suites both with private baths and king size beds. The first bedroom sliding glass door with a walk out to the top deck. There is a community half bath on the main floor as well. Right off the dining room, enjoy the large, covered deck with grill and large table overlooking the lake. Finally, there is also a family room with a large screen TV and 3 couches.
Middle Level
The middle level features a family room with a large screen TV and 2 couches. Two of the bedroom suites on this level have King size beds, a private bathroom, and walk out to the large, covered deck. Another bedroom suite also includes a Queen size bed with Full size bunks and a Private Bathroom. The 4th bedroom suit has a King size bed with a private bathroom. The laundry room with a washer and 2 dryers is also on this level. The covered, waterproofed deck on this floor features a sitting area to relax in and outdoor games: Corn Hole Boards and XL Connect Four.
The Lower Level
The Lower level has a large living room a half bath, and three more-bedroom suites all with private baths. Two of the bedroom suites have King size beds and the other is set up with a Queen size bed and with Full size bunks. The lower level features a large rec room with and a Pop a Shot, Ping Pong table, Shuffleboard and a Foos-Ball table, as well as an assortment of classic board games. The waterproof covered deck on this level features a lighted hot tub.
This is a NON-SMOKING home. Minimum age 27 years to rent. Maximum occupancy is 24.

The host was great, very responsive, flexible and inviting. We really enjoyed the layout of the house with every room having a bathroom. The house was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We will definitely be back! I could not recommend this host or property enough.

This is our 4th year of Norris over 50 Couples trip. This house was absolutely perfect for us - Lux on the Lake for sure! Owner was super responsive and helpful. The home was first class. Owning a vacation rental myself, I am always so happy to arrive at homes where the owner obviously takes such pride in making sure guests have all they need. The guys loved the commercial ice maker and pop machine---like kids in a candy store lol. I was uber impressed with quality and abundance of kitchen furnishings. No need to just 'make due' if you want to cook a meal for the group. Love the location close to the marina. Only thing I would suggest is to bring a blanket from home as a/c cooks and even in august it was cool sleeping. Would definately book again!

Nice house on a beautiful lake. Dock jump and slide provided endless fun for all. Kitchen well equipped, very nice to have 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 2 microwaves and some large pans to cook with for a large group! Also to have an attached bathroom with each bedroom makes the stay for a large group a very smooth and pleasurable experience. The large kitchen table was perfect to all gather together and share dinners..along with the large table on the top deck for evening games and conversation. A few broken items that need replaced and an updated larger grill suitable for a large groups is the constructive criticism. But had an amazing week, host is very responsive, and would gladly rent again and recommend for large group!

We had a good time, but were a little disappointed with a few things. The house was not clean and ready for us. Silverware and dishes were dirty, Outside had trash and bottles in the fire pit and in the yard. Outside furniture was dirty. A few things did not work, ref down stairs, slide, lights on dock, TV down stairs. Rug came up and tack board was exposed and people cut their foot. We had a great time but wish we did not have to clean before we could enjoy the outside. You could tell no one had been in the house for awhile and did not prepare it for guests. Beautiful views and house great for large gathering. Ended up having a great time.
