This brand new beautiful 5500 sq. ft. lakefront home sits on Norris lake near the Cedar Creek Road jumping bridge landmark in the popular Lakeside Estates. Wakes N Shades is tucked into the wooded mountainside facing the lake for a panoramic view of the mountains and water.
This 3 story open floor plan lake house is the largest 9 bedroom home for rental vacations on the north side of the lake which also has12 bathrooms and sleeps 38. Features 3 full length 58 foot-wide decks (that's 2400 additional sq. ft. of living space for your enjoyment) all with beautiful lake and mountain views. A large galley kitchen on the main floor. A laundry room on the middle level. A 2 story private dock with covered slip, electric outlets, dock furniture and a slide! We are located at the end of a lane which allows for plenty of room for parking. Free internet, long distance and cable.
The main floor features a see-through fireplace to the outside deck, vaulted ceilings, quartzite counter tops, 2 dishwashers, 2 wall dutch ovens and 2 refrigerators. For dining, you’ll have 2 large tables and a large island/bar with additional seating. The large covered deck overlooking the lake has tables, chairs, and a large commercial grade gas grill for large groups. There are 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor both with King beds and private master baths with standing tiled, double shower heads stalls. Finally, there is also a family room with a large screen TV and 3 couches.
The middle level features a family room with a large screen TV and 2 couches. Two rooms on this level have King beds, both with private bathrooms including double shower head tiled stalls. The other 2 rooms on this floor have 2 sets of King size bunks in each room both with private baths.
The lower level features a large rec room with a Ping Pong Table, Air hockey, Arcade Games and Ice Maker. There is also private theater room that seats 18 people for viewing. There are 3 bedrooms on this level, 1 being a King bed with a private bathroom. The other room includes a 2 sets of King Bunk beds with and a private bathroom. The 3rd room has a king ked with twin bunks and private bathroom. The covered deck on this level features a large hot tub with LED lighting, water fall and Bluetooth speakers.
This is a NON SMOKING home. Minimum age 27 years to rent.
Wakes N Shades is situated in Lakeside Estates on 188 acres of scenic mountain land, and surrounded by a private cove on Norris Lake. Lakeside Estates features a gated entrance, walking trail, private boat ramp, boat trailer parking, city water, minutes from several full service marinas and restaurants, and a short ride or drive to a golf course.
This part of the lake is considered seasonal water and prior to April and after Labor Day, our cove can look more like a river than a lake, there is no guarantee that you'll have access to the dock but the boat launch is available year round.

This home is as lovely as advertised. We had 20 people and there is plenty of room for everyone. The property managers were extremely responsive to our requests and that is such a plus when considering where to book.Many thanks to Britney. We plan to visit this house again!

The house is very nice and spacious. It’s great all rooms have king bedrooms. Even the bunk rooms have kings. We were disappointed that the pictures showed a dock to fish on but when we arrived it was removed for the season. We were there at the end of March and had nice weather. The area to fish is very steep and you really can’t stand there. The arcade game was broken. One of the deadbolts didn’t lock. The property managers are rude to communicate with if you mention something wrong or have a question, the fireplace area is very closed off and up against a large concrete wall (not very relaxing) there is new construction going on next to the property and it’s loud all day long. There is nothing close by. The closest grocery or “restaurant” is 15-20 mins away. Anything worth doing is an hour or more away. The house is built into a large mountain. There is nowhere to walk when neighbors houses are rented it wjll be hard to park and get out. It’s just super narrow and nowhere to maneuver. I take blame for not researching the area but the rudeness of the property managers is something I have never encountered before. All in all. Read the description and contract very closely. Research the area and know it’s very isolated and in the mjddle of nowhere.
