About this house rental
Bolton Cove is a relaxing, family-owned and operated vacation home community located in beautiful Lake Martin's Parker Creek area. Lake Martin was created in 1926 by damming the Tallapoosa River was, with over 750 miles of shoreline, the largest man-made lake in the world. Bolton Cove itself is a gated community of only a few homes offering many amenities such as a community swimming pool, pool house, private beach, large community boat dock, and playground.
As with all homes in Bolton Cove, 10 Cricket Lane is located directly on the water. This 2-story home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and offers wonderful views of the lake from the living room, master bedroom, and 2 lakeside porches. The upstairs porch also features a gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances such as a refrigerator, cooktop, stove, Keurig coffee maker, and a wine cooler. We also provide plates, glasses, utensils, bowls, pots, and pans for your next gathering.
The living room and master bedroom both have gas fireplaces if you need to warm up.
With the 4 bedrooms, the master has a king bed with a private bathroom, the guest bedrooms each have a queen bed with one sharing a bathroom with the kids’ bedroom having 2 sets of bunk beds. All beds have sheets and blankets, and we also provide soap, shampoo, and towels in all bathrooms.
There is private Wi-Fi throughout the home and the televisions in the living room and bedrooms are all SmartTVs with Spectrum cable so you can enjoy your favorite shows.
Bolton Cove is conveniently located only minutes by car or boat to popular places like Willow Point, Catherine’s Market, SpringHouse restaurant, Children’s Harbor, and the Landing restaurant.
OPTIONAL PONTOON BOAT: Enjoy the lake with our optional 22-foot pontoon boat. With a 115-horsepower engine, you can pull the kids on a tube or just cruise the lake with your friends and family. If you are interested in renting the pontoon boat for an additional $300 per day plus gas, which is available May 1 - October 1. Please ask in advance so we can confirm availability.

Perfect place for our family with several small children. The beach area with paddle boats was awesome for ages 7-13. The pool depth of 3 feet and 5, also perfect for children to play safely in the pool. Party barge, easy in and out, was a great high light. The house was roomy and comfortable; the views from the house were simply beautiful. We will likely return.

When we arrived, we noticed the downstairs was not as cold as the upstairs. We contacted the property manager and he sent someone out quickly to fix the problem.

We were a large group for a family reunion who rented all four houses. Courtland was a great communicator from the time of the reservation all the way through our departure. House 10 smelled like damp, musty mold. That’s could be heard in the walls and were seen peeking out from the fireplace area. In this home no bats escaped into the home however, a bat did fly out of the space between the wall and chimney into the home in house 12. The air conditioner did not work in this home and 2 others initially, but Courtland was responsive and it was fixed within two days. He also reimbursed us for one day of our stay due to that inconvenience. Overall, the entire property is amazing. The pool was clean and the Pool house allowed grandparents to stay downstairs at the pool area for a longer period of time but out of the heat. The sandy beach was a favorite along with the kayaks. All four houses need a thorough deep clean. All need some sort of entryway mat by both doors leading outside, particularly the downstairs door where people are entering from the beach and the pool. If the moldy musty smell can be addressed along with removal of bats, the house would be a wonderful place to stay.
