Charming lake view cottage on the tranquil southern end of Skaneateles Lake with 100 feet of lake frontage and a boathouse right on the water. Perfect for enjoying the lake and forgetting your troubles. Unique property with rare easy access to the lake by foot or by car. Open floor plan with french doors leading out to huge deck from sun-filled living room and master bedroom with spectacular views of lake. Also has a second bedroom with 2 twin beds plus a front room with a day bed that opens to a queen bed for additional sleeping options. Fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, country dining table, comfortable seating for 6 and a gas fireplace.
Boathouse furnished with fun and comfort in mind. Sliding glass doors open to double boat slip. Large wooden deck at water level with colorful Adirondack chairs. Lakeside fire pit perfect for grilling and roasting marshmallows. Full boat slip with ample additional dock frontage for tying up your fleet of small boats.
Unusually easy car access to the lake - drive down to the boathouse right to the water's edge. You can launch your boat from the Scott Park public boat launch, a 1/2 mile from the house or, if the water level in the lake is low, you can use the Skaneateles Marina in Mandana, a 10 minute drive up the lake. Please note there is a small, quiet road between the main house and the boat house. And while we are very dog-friendly, we do have a one-dog maximum per renter and the dog must be small, house-broken and well trained.

This was our second time staying at Eric’s place and it was just as amazing as the first! We had an enjoyable and memorable week full of swimming, boating, fishing and rest/relaxation. We can’t wait to return!

This was our 4th summer staying here and it never disappoints. Such a beautiful spot on the lake and the house is bright and cozy. My family loves coming here.

My husband and I love to spend long weekends in the Finger Lakes when we can. We invite friends and family up for the day/night and spend as much time on the water with our boat as we can bear. Water front access to the lakes is a must. Boat house, boat slip and dock are what primarily attracted us to this property. We were able to launch at the Town of Scott park just down the road and park our boat trailer over the weekend at a local yard not far from the launch. Was able to tie off boat in slip and make so there was no contact with dock from wakes. Road between house and dock is somewhat narrow to park a truck and boat trailer along. Room for 2 or 3 cars/trucks. House was clean and furnished with most of what you would need for a long weekend. Kitchen could use some updating. Large table somewhat hard to get around. Bathroom recently updated, nice sink and walk in shower. Third bedroom off kitchen good for kids, not so much for adults. Beautiful view from the house of the lake. Communication with owner was good.
