Imagine waking up to the breathtaking view of the magnificent sun cresting over the calm oceans horizon as it burns off the morning clouds. Spend your day basking in the Florida sun on our gorgeous uncrowded no drive beach.
Witness the wonder of the abundant local wildlife. Watch the dolphins, whales, turtles, manatees and other sea life from the comfort of the areas largest private beach deck. Utilize our beach chairs, umbrellas, BBQ grill, and array of fishing equipment, beach toys and bicycles to enjoy what Ormond-By-The-Sea has to offer.
Spend time spectating or taking part in various beach oriented action sports such as boogey boarding, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, kite surfing and propelled paragliding.
Experience all of this staying just a few steps away from the beach. We have first and second floors available. 2 bedroom, 1 Bathroom fully furnished Condos with full kitchens. Units consist of queen and full size beds with on site washer and dryer.
A short cruise down scenic A1A will bring you to the city of Daytona Beach which offers a more happening atmosphere for those who are interested. The greater Daytona area has something for everyone. You can rent anything from beach bikes, to segways, scooters, motorcycles and even boats. If that's not enough you can take an airboat ride, visit the pier and boardwalk, go to a minor league baseball game, and enjoy the well known Daytona night life.
There's always something to do in Daytona. It is the host city for major events such as Jeep Beach, The Turkey Rod Run, Speed Week, Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Spring Break and more.
If your looking for a different atmosphere, other cities are just a day trip away from Ormond. For instance the oldest US city, St. Augustine, is less than an hour drive north along A1A. Take the day and tour the historic fort and village and shop to your hearts content. Orlando is also approximately an hours drive and is home to world renowned theme parks such as Disney, Universal Studios, Wet and Wild, Lego Land and Busch Gardens. You may also head south to Cape Canaveral and take a tour of the NASA base and the surrounding area. Launches held at Kennedy Space Center can actually be seen from our private beach deck.
If you'd rather stay local there is tons of fishing to be done in Ormond. Even right from the beach. Fish are abundant here and it's common to catch fish such as Red Drum, Whiting, Snook, Tarpon, Blue Fish, and Grouper and much more!
With all these things to do and our laid back environment, I hope you'll consider a stay at the White Pelican.

Enjoyed the cleanliness, location, and the views. The property Manager was on point and responded back in a timely manner. The location was great and the astomphere around was extremely nice. I highly recommend staying at the White Pelican♥️ Can't wait to book here again.

There was a pipe problem but the manager refunded my money and let me stay bc there was no where else available with the even going on. Really nice guy and everything was available for the beach across the road, chairs and coolers… not sure the pictures are 100% what you get but it was a quick weekend trip and we didn’t spend much time there.

Plenty of room for five. Awesome views and the owner was way more then accommodating. Had everything one would want for the beach. Was their in case we had any questions. Even allowed us to store our jeep doors and such. Blown away! One bathroom was a little tough to work with considering 5 people but it was not enough to complain about with all the other accommodations.

The property manager was excellent aas were the people on sitr....however upon entry to property I noted bothe the bathroom door and a bedroom door were in states os disrepair. Although clean inside it was sparse with furnitue and the master bedroom bed was not attached the hesdboard and made noise when you moved in bed. Views were pretty but the street to cross was extremely busy and scsry at times. I loved being able to have me pet but outside bathroom resources were likited and difficult to locate any place to walk said pet...except private properties. Since dogs are not allowed on beach this made it a challenge when we were able to get to beach...this I realize is no fault of owners or property management. Also had to leave 2 days into a week stay due to sudden deathnof my fsther in law....again property manager was understanding and helpful.....but no restitution of funds were offered and no attempt made to transfer this payment towards another vacstion in the future. I honestly didn't expect much of a refund but considering the circumstances and our ability to provide a death certificate if requested...never was.....I felt some monetary reimbursement would be offered.
