Newly renovated - Direct Ocean View - steps to Ocean

Our stay was great and the place was as described. Our check-in process was not as great but was not in the hosts control. We arrived an hour before the office was supposed to close, however the employee was actively walking all keys to the guard shack and checked us in on the middle of the sidewalk. He just handed us the keys, said here you go with no info on navigating the property or even where to locate our rental. No added information was given. I did not find that interaction to be very professional.

John’s place is great. He is responsive as well. The Murphy bed and the sofa bed made it easy for three of us to have our own space. Convenience of his condo to the water was fantastic. Appreciate it!

We really enjoyed our stay . The balcony had a great view of the ocean and we were able to walk to everything ! We would definitely stay here again !

We have stayed at North Coast for the past 3 summers. We like the overall location and security of the community. This is the first time in this condo unit. It is a good size one bedroom and was very well equipt for the most part. Had the little things I appreciate such as extra hooks for all the guest towels, hangers, well stocked kitchen ect. It is nicely updated except for some uncomfortable wicker chairs in the living room. We liked the layout of the unit. The balcony chair was sun rotted and caused one of us to have a fall, the owner replaced that night. The location to the beach is great! We were not expecting how very noisy the road it is on was- 24/7. ( We had always stayed on the bay side of the complex before.) The bedroom on the back side of the condo was very hot, you have to keep window open to keep unit cool, but the street noise keeps you awake. I try to care for units we rent like it is my own home and there was a vacume , however it had not been emptied in ages and was pretty gross. A swiffer wet for the tile floors would have been nice. The stove on all the units we have rented have the old electric coils, and they are never flat so your food slides to one side. our biggest complaint is with the North Coast HOA. When we booked unit it was listed that the gym was available. This was not true- Only full time owners can use, not summer renters. My husband and son had to drive to a gym to work out on the other side of Oceanside. The other concern we had was that Oceanside had put rocks all along the shoreline making the sandy area of the beach much less usable.
