Kaanapali Beach Club Now reserving dates in 2025

Good service fun time.

The good: -spacious clean rooms including expansive bathroom - nice pool & hot tub & grounds - OK activity room (but closes at 6 PM) - short ish walk to nice beach (the resort is located on a beach which is quite narrow but can walk a short ways to a wider one with more water activity) - good parking availability -food truck lot really close if you want to eat there. Things to work on: - We booked this property through VRBO, needed to change rooms during our stay which really limited activities that day - felt we wasted 1/2 day here.... -Activities booked through the concierge were reduced in price for "gift" prices as long as you attended a 2 hour informational time share session which really gets old when you want to just enjoy a vacation. -lack of room service cleaning, so if you wanted bedding change the sheets were just dropped off at the door & you change the bedding yourself- apparently there is a staffing shortage. Saying that, if you needed anything for the room, extra coffee, towels, etc, the service was delivered happily & very quickly. - no oven/stove in the rooms which might limit the type of meals you can make which is unfortunate. We were able to make most meals with the big electric frying pan & rice steamer that were available in the room, but a small cooktop would be great. There is a BBQ area with several propane BBQ's on the grounds outside however we had difficulty keeping it lit - was windy outside, so we brought back our steaks & foil potatoes & finished cooking them in the electric frying pan - lack of nice restaurant/bar in the morning/day - there is a restaurant /bar area near the pool area/by the ocean that was not open in the morning for meals/drinks, so we walked to the next beach over to have a drink/meal at "Dukes" which was a great place. Would've been nice to be able to have this experience at our own resort area. Just little inconveniences, "first world problems" for sure, overall OK, however for the price, I expected better. 🤷‍♀️ Aloha!

the resort is dated needs paint and overall upgrade. A lot of older people as it is a timeshare. Wish they had proper restaurant working like the other resorts we visited not just take out
