BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for exploring West Maui. Times grocery store and the food truck lot are each right across the street and it's an easy walk or short drive to tons of restaurants. We had rented snorkel gear for the week and had an excellent time visiting all the different nearby beaches and bays. Communication with the owners was truly outstanding. The unit itself was pretty dated, but we had plenty of space for two teenagers and two adults, and the AC and laundry worked perfectly. Pools were lovely and the ocean is right there - very little to no beach in front of the hotel itself, but sandy beaches are just a few steps away. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to return.

Nice property, a little bit older but clean. We stayed at a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen. We are able to cook. The TV in the dining room is large but the one in the master bedroom wasn’t working. Overall this location is convenient and the swimming pool is great, the beach is very close.

The property staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the ocean view was amazing. The grounds are well kept and amenities are great.

We loved the outside property and location. Pools were beautiful and tons of fun. And all the staff were friendly and helpful.
But we had a sliding glass door that was off the track and unusable, a broken drawer in the kitchen, and threadbare couches and carpet. The outlet above the bathroom sink was hanging out of the wall - not good when it is near water… The rooms really need to be updated and refurbished.
