This contemporary home built into a hill is approximately 2,500 square feet with two car garage on 1/2 acre nestled among trees with red rock views. The house has been tastefully decorated and stocked with the necessary conveniences. The architect for the home was Don Woods, a notable local architect.
The Layout:
Living room - Vaulted Ceilings with Floor to Ceiling Windows providing access to the large Deck. Sectional seating in front of an oversized fireplace with a 70' flat screen TV over the fireplace.
Kitchen - Large and fully equipped for cooking. Cuisinart, pots, pans, toaster, can opener, keurig coffee maker, gas range, gas oven, ice maker, microwave.
Breakfast Nook - Off the kitchen. Table for 4.
Dining - Large round 60' table seating 6 for dinner off Kitchen and Living Room.
Decks - There are three decks with deck chairs, table, outdoor grill for outside dinner, star gazing or conversation. The third deck contains a Hot Tub with Red Rock Views.
The Master - King size tempurpedic like mattress with soft pillows and comforters. Chair, Nightstands, Chest and Large Walk-in Closet. Private Deck with Red Rock View. Flat Screen LED TV with remote. Located Upstairs.
Bedroom One - Two Twin tempurpedic like mattresses, nightstands and chest. Downstairs.
Bedroom Two - Bunk Bed (Full lower,Twin upper and trundle) sleeping 4. Downstairs.
Sun Room - Off the Master Bedroom. Full Size Futon/Couch. Sleeps 2. Upstairs.
Master Bathroom - Newly Renovated Shower. Upstairs.
Bathroom Two - Tub and Shower. Downstairs.
Bathroom Three - Half Bathroom off Living Room/Entry.
Laundry Room - Washer and Dryer with Sink. Off Living Room/Entry.
Garage - Two Car Garage. There is also a second driveway with parking.
Observation Deck - Third Deck. Climb Stairs for additional Views.
Electronics/Internet - High speed WiFi, DirectTV, 2 flat screen LED TV's (70' and 32'), remote controls. Wi-fi with streaming YouTubeTV providing all local and cable channels.
The Yard - Two driveway entrances to the house set far from the street. 1/2 acre of large Rocks and Trees provide feeling of privacy and seclusion. The front yard is fenced for privacy.

The house had everything we needed, even lotion in the bathrooms for our dry desert skin. Our host was very responsive and provided very clear information. The house feels very private even though there are close houses. There are more steps to access the house and bedrooms than we expected, so please keep that in mind when considering the rental. There were 5 of us and the house was perfect for us.

The hot tub had a spectacular view and was a great place to watch the night sky. Location was perfect for us as we checked out hiking in the area. The view from the living room as the sun rose (I'm from the East Coast so I was up early) was beautiful and as funny as it sounds, it was great to be able to do laundry while on vacation and with such a view while folding was just lovely! The place was great and I've already told some friends!

House was in excellent condition. Did not come across any instance of things not working properly. Kitchen is very well equipped if planning to cook. Location has a secluded feeling yet very close to main road. Near to shopping places & restaurants in both Sedona and Oak Creek. Hot tub and views while in it are to kill for. House accommodated 6 people (4kids) comfortably. If things align, would love to stay here again.

This property is a 1980's house that has been very tastefully rehabbed. Impeccably clean with very well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry. The house cannot be described as cozy, but is large and echoes. Road noise from Rte 179 is audible inside the house and becomes really annoying outside on the deck. Has a great stash of Sedona and Northern Arizona tourist information. The annual Red Rock parking pass was a real bonus and much appreciated as the shuttle buses had not started for the season. For those considering a winter rental, beware that the house heats very unevenly. To achieve a standard 68° in the great room, the master bedroom upstairs is overheated to the mid 70s and the bedrooms in the basement never get to 68°. The hot tub (the highlight of the property) was set in sleep mode at a cool temperature with no instructions for operation so it was our 3rd day before we got it up to temperature after communicating with the in abstentia managers.Overall we had a decent stay, but would not rush to return.
