Good speedy communication regarding check-in. We were able to check-in, collect our key and leave bags to suit our plans. The welcome on arrival was both friendly and efficient. Our breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect for attending a wedding nearby.

The garden is gorgeous and plenty of seating to enjoy the space. The breakfast was fabulous.

Friendly welcoming inn, overnight. Beautiful back woodland garden. Delicious home cooked food.

Location, little out of things and on fairly busy road. Bedroom nice enough, difficult shower tap. Hard to turn then freezing water 1st took a while to get hot water, then hard to to turn off. It is a pub, not the most comfortable chairs to sit in during the evening.

The staff, the food was nicely cooked and prepared.

I had read the reviews about the inn and felt it was what I was after. Sadly, what I found wasn’t the same. The room was in a converted hay loft adjacent to the inn. It was small and the ceiling was uncomfortably low in places. The room was tired and needed attention in many places. The WC toilet seat wouldn’t remain up, there was paint flaking above the cistern. The bed frame was attractive, however the mattress was cheap and you could feel every spring pushing through. The room was is right next to a busy A road and the lights of the car illuminated the room every few seconds and could not be blocked out. There was a very noisy fan close to the room, I think it was from the kitchen. It was disappointing, but the staff made up for it and the food was good and served with a big smile.
