About this house rental
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has recently been remodeled and updated for your pleasure and enjoyment. The house has a wood-burning stove for those chilly evenings and a game room with both a pool table and frogger machine, to entertain the kid in all of us. The house sits on 2.5 acres north of Buena Vista approximately 6 miles. Close to town, yet far enough away for the peace and quiet you crave. Make this your vacation headquarters for rafting, hiking, biking, horseback riding, or just relaxing in between!
As per our license with Chaffee County, this house is not an appropriate destination for events such as weddings or large parties. Small gatherings which are respectful of the neighbors and neighborhood are acceptable as long as the maximum number does not exceed the number of guests on the reservation.
**Please be advised that VRBO's presentation of the nightly rate is not always accurate. The "Avg Rate" takes into consideration that this property has a high season rate and a low season rate and averages out over a period of 364-365 nights a year. It also takes into consideration that there is a base rate as well as additional guest fees over the base rate.
Our base rate is dependent upon 6 guests or less. Each additional guest is charged $15.00 per person/per night. In the quote from VRBO, they call it an "Additional Guest Fee", whereas the host includes it in the rent. The host has no control over how VRBO presents these or any other fees.

The property was great. It was easy to get to and there was lots of land for the kids to ride their bikes. The kids loved it all especially the Frogger game.
Even though it didn't happen I had an issue that once we got to the house that we found the house was up for sale and that the owner could bring by prospective buyers while we were there to look at the property. This was not in the original online rental agreement. This should be upfront information.

Description mentioned kitchen had a blender but it didn't. Needed to make proteen drinks so I had to skip. I would have brought my own blender except for the description. The management company took a day to respond and didn't help.
The game room was great for the kids.

Everything was great. The house is very comfortable and in a good location for exploring the Arkansas River Valley.
