A location that can't be beaten!

You can not get a better location in this area - all of those magical views of the Mt St Michel are taken from the front door of this property - the sheep herding routines in the morning and the evening are amazing and go literally right past the front door! The property is well equipped and easily accommodated all of our needs

The garden area needs a tidy up as some of the furniture was broken and it would have been nice to sit out there on an evening.

A fabulous place and hub to stay at Mont Saint-Michel.

The local sheep herd together with the Shepherd dog and the Shepherd walks past the front door in the morning. I recommend it as a must see sight during the stay. The image/view is exactly as the photo on L’Hirondelle where Mont Saint-Michel is at the background.

The key box’s lock needs to be oiled or you need to press harder. (I was too gentle with the lock after getting the combination right)

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at L'Hirondelle. It is comfortable, spacious and has excellent facilities. The host is very attentive and easy to contact. The location of the house with easy access to Mont-Sainte-Michel to second to none. And the twice daily sheep parade is an absolute bonus.

The location is excellent. Although it's a bit far from tourist centre, it provides good view of MSM and the sheep going past every morning and evening. Karine is very very helpful whenever we need help. The price is very affordable too.

Nothing really. Just on my personal preference: The beds were a bit soft for my liking. I came in winter, heater worked well But I am not sure whether it will be too warm in summer since I didn't see any air-conditioning. Best to check.

Amazing Location With An Easy Check In.

The location is absolutely gorgeous! The house is modern and cozy. Check in was super easy and loved the coffee machine and shower.

The outdoor area wasn’t clean unfortunately, we couldn’t let our toddler in that area.

L’Hirondelle is a lovely and cozy gite with the Norman countryside right outside the door!

View of Le Mont St Michel from across the road was spectacular and seeing the sheep pass by twice a day was an amazing privilege. Modern kitchen and bath. The garden would be very enjoyable in good weather. Lots of restaurants nearby. The host was extremely kind and responsive!

Stairs to reach the bedrooms were pretty tricky. There were lots of flies due to what the sheep left on the road.

Great location and lots of space.

Very clean and spacious apartment. We walked to Mont St Michel from there and it took an hour, but it was an absolutely gorgeous walk. The sheep going by in the morning was awesome also. Very quiet street as well.

Todo. Está en una ubicación inmejorable, increíble salir a la calle y ver el Mont Saint Michel delante. El apartamento es precioso, todo nuevo y bien decorado, incluso con detalles navideños! Tiene todo lo necesario para la estancia. La comunicación con el dueño perfecta, fue muy amable y respondió a todas nuestras preguntas. Ya lo he recomendado a algunos amigos!

Emplacement idéal au confort ‘passable’

L’emplacement est le point fort de cet établissement. Il est tout juste à côté du pré que nous pouvons marcher jusqu’au Mont Saint-Michel en 25-30 minutes environ. Il est aussi génial de voir passer les moutons matin et soir devant la maison. Le village à proximité a de très bons restaurants dont La Galette qui fût notre préféré.

L’hébergement manque de soins et de confort. Les lits grincent et la literie est insuffisante. Nous avons eu froid tout le séjour. La salle de toilette n’a aucun chauffage. Heureusement que la salle de douche est bien équipé de sorte que nous avons réussi à chauffer suffisamment la pièce lors de son utilisation. Les équipements de cuisine sont de piètre qualité et insuffisants de sorte que nous n’avons pas mangé sur place sauf pour les petits-déjeuners.

La ubicación. Casi perfecta. Según te asomas a la puerta ya tienes una vista espectacular del Mont Saint Michael. Está ubicada junto a los meandros. Muy cerca del aparcamiento y del pueblo donde puedes encontrar cafeterías, restaurantes y supermercados.

Las habitaciones se encuentran en la parte alta y para subir sólo hay una escalera muy estrecha y baja; hay que subir y bajar agachado. El baño se encuentra en la parte baja; no hay en el piso superior. En cualquier rincón podías encontrar pelusas y polvo.

Nos ha gustado mucho, está muy equipado, y también tiene un jardín fuera! No apto para personas con movilidad reducida!
