Come enjoy the beautiful southern Oregon coast at this very comfortable Beach house perched on ocean front property, No steps to the beach, but within walking distance of a beach access. There are opportunities for whale watching from the house and deck or you can venture to Redwood National Park located 25 miles to the south, the famous Rogue River with jet boat rides in Gold Beach located 25 miles to the north. . . Brookings-Harbor town is a couple minutes' drive, with its many seafood eateries and boating, quaint stores, and antiquing.

In the evening after a long day of hiking, fishing or sight seeing sit out on the deck and grill your catch of the day or sit by the wood burning fireplace. The area is known for it's salmon, halibut, crab and more! What are you waiting for?

The views, the new kitchen with pass through bar, the momma dear with her 2 yearlings and brand new baby dear, the pelicans, seals, and watching the fishing boats go in and out of the harbor and the Dregder clearing out the harbor. Going back again next year!!

Beautiful view, comfy furniture. It was a bit confusing to get into the house from the beginning with trying to find the code to get the key. Other than that my partner and mother in law enjoyed it a whole lot more that I imagined. Thank you for everything

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautiful and the view of the harbor and north jetty beach was spectacular. I appreciated the binoculars and scope which allowed us to get closeups of the ospreys, pelicans, seals and cormorants. The home is well appointed, stocked with everything we needed and the beds were all comfortable. It is an easy walk to the beach.

Memory Cove doesn't disappoint. This property is exceptional: clean, well-stocked, fabulous location, easy communication and seamless arrival and departure instructions. Even with gale-force winds and 4.5 inches of rain, we enjoyed our perch right on the very blustery ocean.

Our trip to Memory Cove in aug. 2024 was just as wonderful experience at it was in sept. 2023 for the four of us (all seniors). Memory Cove is clean, comfortable, delightfully decorated and the location is the best for those day trips! The view, from both of the dining room windows was the best whether from inside or on the cememt patio!! Thank you so much!! We’d say the only tiny inconvenience was the drippy faucet and occasional running toilet in the smaller bathroom needs a bit of tlc along with the need/want for an operational DVD player. Barbara, thank you so much for sharing your home and making us feel so very welcomed!

What a wonderful couple of days we had enjoying this perfect coast home. The views are unbeatable! The house has everything you need plus extra items you may have forgotten! We loved using the binoculars to view boats coming and going from the harbor. We loved the layout of the house and the extra touches like the nightlights throughout, making it easy to navigate while others are sleeping. We enjoyed walking down to check out tide pools too! Thank you for an amazing family trip, memories we’ll treasure for many years!

We love Memory Cove. On a bluff over the water, great view, quiet, walkable neighborhood, privacy. We bring dinners back to the house as the venue is better than any restaurant!This is our third visit, and we’ll be back.

Family of 6 adults and young adults stayed over Memorial Weekend. Perfect quiet safe neighborhood setting. Quick walk to beach. Great tide pooling. Home is on ocean cliff but not right on beach, which offers a breathtaking view. We watched the sunset from Chetco Point. One night we made a campfire at Winchuck Bay. Visited Goodwill and the Azalea Festival! Ate at Hungry Clam— an hour wait at 3 pm but worth the calamari and fried pickles. Would definitely stay at this home again!

Fyi that communication was excellent regarding confirmed dates and payments!! From there a bit more communication re the operation of the tv and in general online questions would be a 1 star scenario. The home and location was everything, and more that we could have hoped for as four Seniors! Perhaps there could be some thought to an additional step to two sides of the front porch due to a fall. Your home was adorable, comfortable, decorated cuter than a bugs ear, supplies were over the top and we can’t wait to book again and enjoy those views /area!! Thank you so much!!!

This was a fantastic place to enjoy the Oregon coast. The view is something to see, with two large picture windows giving a fantastic view on the cove, sea rocks, jetty and all the boats going in-and-out, and the patio felt nearly private. It is a truly special place. The house was spacious and comfortable and has an authentic coast aesthetic and vibe. It's great for all-day bird watching (pelicans, gulls, cormorants) and we were visited by deer a few times too. Close enough to town that we walked in for restaurants and shopping. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We had an absolute blast at this property and a much-needed vacation. This property delivered every aspect you could imagine. Being able to rock in a chair and look out to the oceanfront view was serene. Not to mention, how meticulous the decorations and the effort to make this a 'family' getaway was impressive. 4 ladies in Brookings for a 4 day meeting at the Elks lodge. 2 from California and 2 from Alaska. The views were stunning, the house clean, the deer and babies were a special treat. While some portions of the house have been updated others had not. However, this did not detract from our visit. We do wish the four legged gardeners would cut the shrubs back another foot so while outside the view could be enhanced. We all said how glad we were to have found this rental. We will certainly be back someday. If was a perfect 4 days and wish it had been longer. So much to do in the area.

Home was very welcoming, kitchen is well stocked and the ocean view patio is wonderful. We watched osprey, pelican, and other sea birds. You can sea seals as they sun themselves. We watch boats, surfers, paddle boarders and a peddle boat. Great fun and relaxing vacation.

This was our second visit to this wonderful property, which we chose for the fabulous ocean view on the edge of a bluff. The location is very private, and the house feels like home. We wanted 3 bedrooms (there are two baths) and the fireplace is a plus. Large windows are in the living and dining areas. There is a patio in front that is the length of the house and looks to the ocean and to Brookings Harbor. The neighborhood is walkable and restaurants and shops are easily accessible. We would definitely rent this house again if we returned to Brookings.

This property is amazing. Very clean, excellent location and you cannot beat that view! We really appreciated the binoculars and spotting scope and spent a lot of time watching the fishing boats, Coast Guard boats and the birds (there was a bald eagle hanging around!). We even saw a pod of orcas! We enjoyed the deer passing through the yard daily as well. The owner was great with communication and the check in process was very smooth. There was plenty of room for the four of us with big bedrooms and lots of closet and drawer space to unpack clothes. The kitchen has EVERYTHING! We prepared many of our meals at the house and had every pot, pan, appliance and utensil we needed. I cannot say enough good things about our stay here and I can see this being our go-to spot to stay when we visit Brookings!

We had a great visit. The view is amazing, except when the fog rolls in. But then you are right on the ocean so that is expected. Loved the momma deer and her fawn walking through each day and then there was the calico cat that joined them. So we had lots of entertainment.
