About this house rental

2010 Chatham Preservation Award Recipient

This 1820 Cape was completely restored in 2008 and combines a classic exterior with a traditional interior while enjoying the amenities of a modern home, including central air conditioning.

A charming home with architectural details, such as wide pine floors and two fireplaces, is located on a quiet lane just two blocks from the shops on Main Street and three blocks from Oyster Pond.

The first floor includes an open floor plan that has a kitchen with custom built cabinets, gourmet appliances, and granite counter tops, a dining area, and a family room area with a flat screen television/DVD. In addition, the first floor also has a small parlor, an office with high speed internet, and a powder room with a stackable washer/dryer.

On the second floor, there is a master bedroom and bathroom with marble shower and a jacuzzi tub, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a bathroom with shower, and a third room with a daybed. This is the perfect location for walking to town, the beach, and many of the activities that are offered in beautiful Chatham!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was charming and beautifully restored, but still had all the modern conveniences you expect from a home rental, maybe even beyond what you would expect. It was even nicer than it looks in pictures. Great location for walking into town in a quiet, private neighborhood. We could not think of a single criticism. Would happily stay again.

This home is better than the pictures reflect! Just lovely in every way and the location cannot be beat. Hope to return one day!

This house is a GEM. My family of four (son 3, daughter 1) stayed for week in this beautiful home and could not have had a better experience. Perfect location - walking distance to town and Oyster pond. The rooms are all stunning, spacious and feel brand new. Closet in the master bedroom was so nice! I honestly don't think the photos do it justice! Cannot wait to go back.

This beautifully restored cottage is in a desirable town location. We enjoyed walking to Kate Gould park, the grist mill and labyrinth many days of our stay. This cottage was tastefully decorated, well appointed, comfortable and gracious for our family's stay. The owners were helpful and responsive when we had questions. The center of Town is a 6 minute walk and we enjoyed evening strolls for dinner and shopping often. We can't wait for our return visit next summer!
