The chateau is absolutely lovely - beautiful setting and lovely hosts. Quaint villages surround, so easy to run to the bakery or grocery, and easy drives to Le Mans, Chenenceau, vineyards, etc. Highly recommend!

The gite at the chateau is beautiful and well equipped with the pool and games room for kids and adults of all ages! The area is lovely and very interesting, just a bit remote so it's useful to plan ahead for meals and shopping.

When we first saw the photos we went “wow” but when we saw it for real we were even more impressed! The Chateau and it’s surroundings are truly breathtaking and the owners are doing a great job renovating and making improvements. The pool area in the converted orangerie is a great example. There were two toilets, a shower and a small kitchen and large dining area. Lots of room to spend all day at the pool. Inside the Chateau the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. There was even a laundry room - which was handy as we were a family of 9 on this trip. If you have someone who is disabled or struggles with stairs then the downstairs bedroom and en-suite were fantastic. Overall we had a great time, including lots of great meals in the lovely dining area. Many thanks for your hospitality, Marina and Phillipe!

A beautiful historic house in a picturesque setting overlooking the valley. The hosts, Marina and Philippe, were very welcoming. We had a great week walking in the surrounding countryside, visiting nearby towns or just relaxing by the swimming pool. We hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chateau. We have been coming to France for decades and I can defy say that this is the best equipped. Marina and Philippe were able to be very versatile with bed combinations which, with 5 children, made our bedtime so much easier. The pool is superb and the pool house again wonderfully equipped. The area is beautiful and with a rich history to explore. Would love to return

The property is beautiful and even better than the pictures. There is so much history in this exquisite home. It is updated with comfortable and new bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. There is character in the historic wood floors and stonework. The owners are fantastic and outstanding and extremely kind. They went above and beyond for us and made our stay incredible. The spiral staircases may be difficult for people with limited mobility, but the downstairs bedroom has been outfitted with a large and accommodating bathroom/shower for those differently abled. Be sure to enjoy the sparkling pool with newly renovated pool house… as well as ping pong and foosball in the basement. I already want to return!

This was the perfect place for a stay with our extended family. The chateau is beautiful and the gite section has been very sensitively refurbished so it keeps all of its original charm whilst providing every modern convenience. The chateau provides a spectacular view over the river valley, which can be enjoyed from all the major rooms in the gite. The chateau owners, Marina and Philippe, were very welcoming and the check-in/departure process was a breeze. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful setting.

We recently had a wonderful stay at Chateau De La Flotte. The Chateau is beautiful with rich history. The interior retains its historical charm with modern, upgrade touches in the bathrooms and kitchen. The interior was spectacular. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Only 10-12 minutes from the village of La Charte-sur-le-Loir where several restaurants and shops are located. There were a total of 5 of us with an additional 2 friends joining us for two nights. We had ample room with the 5 bedrooms, large kitchen and numerous sitting areas and dining area. We hope to return soon for a longer stay. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Chassany are wonderful!

Marina and Philippe have created a magical holiday space and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. It was our most favorite stopping point in France this trip. The historic Chateau is truly first class and better than we could have imagined. The bucolic views were unforgettable, like oil paintings at each beautiful window. The kitchen and baths are new, very tasteful, fitting and comfortable with everything we needed. It was such a great location for us. Even in December/January we managed to visit Chambord, Chenoncueau, Villandry, Ambroise and Tours to get an excellent taste of the Loire Valley. We highly recommend!!

J’ai loué ce château pour mon club de lecture. Nous avons tous été enchantés par ce cadre magnifique chargé d’histoire. Les châtelains ont très sympathiques, hospitaliers et flexibles. Le château est magnifique et tres bien entretenu, avec une mention spéciale pour les mobiliers de qualité et les intérieurs décorés avec goût. Un grand merci. Nous avons hâtes d’y retourner !

Super séjour. Nous avons séjourné à 6 adultes, 5 enfants et 1 bébé. Nous avons pu profité de cette grande propriété super bien aménagée et super bien équipée. Les hôtes sont adorables et ont répondu à nos demandes. On a pu profiter de la piscine, du molky, des boules de petanque et des visites aux alentours. Je ne peux que recommander cette location.

Nous sommes partis à 3 couples avec 4 adolescents et nous avons passé un week-end de l'ascension parfait. Le château est grand, très joli, très bien équipé, au calme. Le château offre tout le confort moderne à l’intérieur. Les enfants peuvent jouer à l’extérieur (il y a même une table de ping-pong) Les propriétaires sont charmants. Je vous recommande cette location pour passer un bon moment

Belles prestations. Propriétaires charmants. Belle région à découvrir (marquée par la littérature Ronsard et l histoire ) avec de nombreux châteaux. Proximité de villages troglodytique originaux (Troo) et de très belles cites (Vendome, Lavardin). Nous avons passé un excellent week-end de Pentecôte. Je recommande cet endroit magique dominant une vallée.
