About this house rental
Hillary s Loft is born from the passion of Ilaria, a young Urbanista, who lover of architecture decides to make a small Loft, designed on two levels, in the historic center of Alghero offering a real reproduction from the typical Sardinian house. The accommodation, located in a building of 1700, has been recently renovated maintaining the characteristic stone, the tuff, original construction material that enhances the historicity of the place.
With the total reconstruction, the stone floor, the raw iron finishes, the wooden loft and the bathroom made of typical Sardinian wax, we wanted to recall the colors and materials of the typical houses of Alghero in antiquity. The accommodation enjoys natural light thanks to a large window that overlooks one of the most fascinating streets of the historic center, and two skylights (openable and blacked out) that characterize the roof (ex novo) made entirely of wood.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Steps from Piazza Civica in the heart of centro storico. Cafes/bars, restaurants, shops, the harbor and the promenade that extends for miles … all nearby. Very comfortable accommodations. As others have mentioned, there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment, which was not a problem for us at all, but it may be for others. Super easy check-in and out. Free parking available along the marina - prop mgr can provide details. Highly recommend. Alghero was lovely and this apartment and location certainly contributed to that. 🇮🇹

Modern loft right in the old city. Many restaurants, close to museums, churches and the sea. Lots of stairs to reach the apartment and very noisy on the street in the evening. If you close the window, it’s quiet. Parking is about 700 meters away as this is in the pedestrian-only area of Alghero. If you are coming to Alghero, this is the place to stay, in the heart of the historical centre.

My host Angelo was great! Fast response time for all inquiries on different time zones. Location was great near best restaurants and shopping. Street is pedestrian only so it was tricky with luggage, but otherwise great to walk around freely and quiet nights for good sleep. Traveled with friends that stayed on the water and all agreed our location was better. The water location was incredibly noisy and windy. Wind pounding on doors and windows all night. Overall this place was great and would definitely stay here again if my destiny takes me back to Alghero.
