CasalFattoria is an early XX-century farmhouse, strategically located between town and country just 7 miles to the city center and set in a large well-kept garden on top of a quiet and breezy hill, which is now fully restored and transformed into modern flats. Our property is an attractive two-storied apartment, completely renovated and refurnished by a team of young roman architects, which reflects the owner’s passion and style. Luxury, comfort and design are its main features throughout: beautiful grey stone and wooden floors, lavish marble bathrooms, chestnut wooden beams on the ceilings, a picturesque fireplace, a private internal staircase and top-class fixtures, fittings and furniture. Each room has a distinctive flair merging harmoniously into a charming, cozy retreat.
The apartment is composed by 2 double bed rooms (one room with a third bed), a Loft with 4 divan-beds, dining room with 8 seats, fireplace, living room corner, a bath room with bath and shower and a bath room with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, clothes dryer, cooker with 5 burners, suction hood, electric oven, 300 lt fridge-freezer, dish-washer, microwave oven, kettle, American coffee maker, dipping shaker, iron and ironing board) with a snack table with 3 seats + a small table with 3 more seats.
Single beds can be jointed and provided with one only mattress in order to have up to 3 double beds and 3 single bed.
There are 2 car places inside the gated property and the garden is provided with a wooden table and chairs in addition to the playing area for children.
More, CasalFattoria is one mile outside the Rome ring road; just inside begins the town, so the location is actually rural, but at the same time just close by the town; in particular, it’s located at exactly eight miles from the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, the very heart of Rome! More, it's very easy to get there by bus+subway (bus stop leading directly to the subway at 800 feet), by car+subway (subway station at only 3 miles, with big, safe and cheap parking), or directly by car. More, a superstore open on Sunday morning too is 1 mile far, and bar-tobacco, bank, pharmacy, other kind of services and shopping are at 1-2 miles!

We were in Rome for a destination wedding at a nearby villa, but needed additional accommodations. This home was perfect for us - very comfortable, easy to get around on the South side of Rome (we were originally worried about driving in Rome - but this is not a problem being away from the city center). Very nice family to meet us and show us around. Not great for young children with the stairs - but fine for adults and older kids/teens!

We enjoyed the beautiful home, modern farm house, large dining room and combined living room fit our large group of 9. I would say no young kids due to lack of stair rail to upper floor (unless yiu are used to open stairs with no railings on one side. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked with cookware. Easy access to metro or beaches, Ancient city of Ostia. Hosts were very helpful, and had good restaurant recommendations. Also new Maximus mall just a couple km away. We would love to come back again ( maybe in a cooler month).

We loved our stay at Casalfattoria. It is a stunning property and is very much equipped as a home from home. An easy drive to Laurentina metro station (where we always found free parking) and then a simple metro ride to all of Rome's considerable delights.
The property also has easy parking and is situated in large communal gardens which gives a lovely setting.
Certainly a recommended destination if you want to spend time in the centre of Rome but would prefer to be out of the hussle and bussle at the end of the day to enjoy a relaxing, quiet evening.
Stefano and his brother Gabriele were perfect hosts and thankfully speak wonderful English as our Italian is very much lacking!

We loved our stay at Casalfattoria. It is a stunning property and is very much equipped as a home from home. An easy drive to Laurentina metro station (where we always found free parking) and then a simple metro ride to all of Romes considerable delights. The property also has easy parking and is situated in large communal gardens which gives a lovely setting. Certainly a recommended destination if you want to spend time in the centre of Rome but would prefer to be out of the hussle and bussle at the end of the day to enjoy a relaxing, quiet evening. Stefano and his brother Gabriele were perfect hosts and thankfully speak wonderful English as our Italian is very much lacking! Ciao and grazie molto
