About this house rental
Immaculate, comfortable and spacious 3-4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, colonial style home with farmers porch in the Balmoral Association of Moultonborough. Close to skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling from the back yard to miles of trails. 1/3 mi to the sandy beach and boat launch. This home offers a fully stocked, large well appointed kitchen and dining area which looks out to the sunroom. The home offers two living rooms, one of which can double as a bedroom with its full pullout bed, and a sliding barn door to ensure privacy from the rest of the home. This living room/bedroom also has a slider opening onto the large backyard deck. On the second floor is the Master Bedroom -bathroom with King Bed, Guest Room with Queen Bed, second floor full bath. The large landing area on the second floor serves as a reading area with a queen futon that can serve as an overflow sleeping area as well. The large third floor bedroom has a Queen and two twin beds. TV's are located in both living rooms, and third floor bedroom. The backyard has a large deck, horse shoe pit, cornhole game, gas grill, fire pit, and enclosed outside shower.
The home is in an excellent location, 5 minutes from The Castle in the Clouds and the host is on premises to answer any of your questions or concerns. Some of the many attractions and adventures that the lakes region has to offer include several 18 hole golf courses, mini golf, swimming, zip line, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, shopping, antiquing, sight seeing, restaurants/sport bars, coffee and more.

What a beautiful house. Everything about the house was great - location, kitchen, bedrooms, living and relaxation rooms - and outside areas with games and furniture to relax in this great environment. Host (Bob) was incredibly nice, very friendly & accommodating and very available however gave us our space as well. Family wedding nearby so we had 4 generations under one roof: from 1 year old baby to great grandparents (92). Fantastic place for a visit, family reunion, or to scout out and enjoy a beautiful lake and mountain region of NH. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed at this beautiful home for a wedding trip. Very spacious and accommodating. Felt like home. Our host Bob was absolutely wonderful and so hospitable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Moultonborough is a great little town. We had a pleasant arrival and good interactions with our host. We were allowed to check in early to watch the World Cup and appreciated that.
We had several young children and found that the home wasn’t as kid friendly as we were hoping. The front lawn was temporarily off limits due to new grass and the backyard had a wood pile, firepit and gravel such that supervision was critical. Indoors also had several areas that needed supervision as well as far as Knick knacks etc. The kids had a great time though.
The pull out bed had a sagging corner and we ended up sleeping on the sofa folded up instead of using that bed. The rest of the beds/bedrooms were great.
The beach is further away than we were led to believe. Not walking distance if you’re under age 10 or are carrying any beach gear.
Overall we enjoyed our time together and the space but will probably look for a different venue in the future.
