About this apartment rental

OsoVerde is a brand new gated property located just a few blocks from Baylor University. Guests enjoy an awesome resort style pool, BBQ grill, basketball court, mini golf course and access to the 24 hr fitness center. The 5 bedroom residence comes fully furnished including a washer and dryer and 50" SMART TV. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom and walk in closet. bed, dresser, and desk. There are 3 Queen beds and 2 Double Size XL beds. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs on school days every 15 min to campus. If the website says we are booked for your dates of travel, please email us, we may have an opening!

This VRBO is really only set up to hold FIVE people, definitely NOT 10 like it’s advertised. It has the potential to be a 5 star but there’s some definite shortcomings. *Know, if you book this apartment that you are staying in college student housing. *Absolutely loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. Not real sure the size of the beds is correct in the listing. They seemed to all be xl fulls and no queens. Bring shampoo/conditioner/body soap because they don’t supply any of that. There was only a few squirts of hand soap in each bathroom. The towels have seen better days. Bring extra if you like more than one. And we only had 2 hand towels for 5 bathrooms. OH! And bring pool towels because they aren’t supplied. Keep in mind that the beds are EXTREMELY HIGH off of the ground. That posed a big problem for our 82 year old grandma. *The location was great for us. And then within the complex it was FANTASTIC!! 1st floor. Parking was fairly close. Just outside the back door was the volleyball court/putt putt course and pool. Loved that! The apartment was very clean but I can’t say that for the exterior. The patio was filthy. There were a massive amount of cigarette butts on and just off the patio. We had to sweep them to the side just to sit outside. We sat on the edge of the patio to watch our group play volleyball. We sat on the edge of the patio because there was no patio furniture to sit on. *Be prepared to get very little sleep. The noise from the upstairs tenants was unbearable and lasted into the early morning hours. None of us slept well. *The kitchen is very poorly stocked for 5 guests let alone 10. We had no extra garbage bags, only the one in the can. There were no dish towels to dry dishes and a half roll of paper towels. No extra. There were only a couple of Keurig coffee cups. We had to go shopping and get enough to supply our stay. For a short term rental that holds 10, the large table only has 5 chairs. Why? There is more than enough room for 8 chairs. Our group could not eat at the table together. And the same goes for the living room. There was not enough seating for all of us in the living room. It only had 5 places to sit. We ended up bring out the desk chairs as extra seating. *We were sent check-in information earlier than most short term rentals have done. I did send a message that there was a water leak in the ceiling of a bedroom but never heard back from them. *Overall - clean but very lacking by Waco STR standards.

Nice place! We had a very pleasant experience. Check in & out was a breeze & the unit was clean and met the needs of our group (6 adults, 2 kids) well. The sport courts & pool area were really nice to have when the kids got bored with shopping, etc! Only other feedback is that the kitchen/dining area is pretty small (4 seater table) so would have been difficult to all dine together in the unit if we had wanted to. Also, it came with no toiletries in the bathrooms so make sure to bring your own soap for the shower, shampoo etc.

Very comfortable for a large group. Make sure you call in advance to let them know when you wil be arriving. We were late and it worked out but a bit stressful after 22 hrs of travel you arrive at dark locked driveway gate.

What a great property!! 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom!! Nice kitchen, washer/dryer, nice little patio and backyard area where we set up tables and chairs to have a whole family lunch after celebrating graduation. It was soooo much better than being in hotel rooms!! Very clean, everything we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Our 5 bed 5 bath apartment was absolutely perfect for our mother/daughter time at the Heart of Texas Stock Show. Everything we needed was provided and the unit was clean and comfortable. We were able to wash the girls show clothes each night and with everyone coming and going at different times, each mom/daughter having their own bath was priceless. With graduating seniors, we won't be back for this event, but with so much to do in Waco, I can see a fun mom trip in the future...

Very spacious and LOVED that each bedroom has it's own bathroom and TV. Amenities are great. Pantry was a little bare...only olive oil, salt, pepper and seasoning. No shampoo or conditioner. Bring all your own food. It is a college complex so expect some noise. It is gated and very close to campus. Will definitely be back!

The people at Oso Verde were a pleasure to interact with during our visit to Waco. We found the room to be very accommodating. We each had our own bedroom with a full bathroom, which made it easy with so many females getting ready each morning. The room was nicely decorated and stocked with all applicable appliances. We knew going in that these were college apartments and expected the environment to be loud. To our surprise we only heard some loud music one evening and a few car alarms being set early in the morning. Again, nothing unbearable though. We will definitely be back next year to run the Silo District Marathon and hopefully be able to stay at Oso Verde Apartments again!

We enjoyed our stay and the fact everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. I wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the outdoor amenities. We still enjoyed our stay and Fall Baylor graduation. The reason why four instead of five stars was for the fact of we would have appreciated pot holders, kitchen towels and a few more wash clothes. I might add our stay was quiet and did not hear adjoining neighbors during our stay.
